So I have a 5X6X9 walk in closet running a 1000w Hps light with ballast with no exhaust blower inline fan or ventilation ducting or anything of that sort. I currently just have couple fans incloset blowing air around 24/7 and running lights 12/12 from 12 noon to 12 midnight and just opening and leaving my closet door open all day with my window open in my room for fresh air.and then at night i just close closet door light proof everything and then dont open it until next day at noon and process continues.
My average tempetures when running lights are between 24-28 degrees with humidity of 40-50% and at night average temps are 18-20 degrees with humidity of 70-80%
Is this method/process doible until harvest or do i still need to invest in a exhaust blower/ inline fan, vent ducting and whatever else i need ?

As long as you have air moving so you dont devolop powdery mildew you should be ok. The reason people use the inline fans is to either run the carbon filter, air cool the lights, or move air and a/c from room to room. If your able to control the temps already, and not worry about the stench of late flower then youll be fine. Also just look up what powdery mildew so your aware of what it looks like.

I have dealt with powdery mildew in the past growing outdoors so I know all to well what that shit looks like ha
And i am a bit concerned about the smell in late flower.... I was thinking of just sitting odor eleminator things like ONA Gel maybe.... around house (not in closet) and hope for the best.... Know that probably not the best idea though

No not the best idea. Even getting a small carbon filter and fan to put in the grow and just have it on scrub vs. cutting holes in walls or whatever would help immensely.

I was just looking at such a thing ealier believe it or not. I was thinking about trying to go along that route. and yeah tht be better for me vs. cutting and tearing apart my walk in closet

I'D want a lower humidity than 70-80 when the lights are off.
but you might get away with it.
yeah.... I can light proof my room at night like my bedroom door and window and then just open closet door at night before bed. then reclose it when i wake up
best i can do for now until i brainstorm a better option.
I just dont have the money for the equipment needed to properly ventilate atm nor now the best way of doing it even if i did.
why im doing this the way i am for now
