Coldplay water on the flowers themselves? That's mold waiting to happen.
Put a little h2o2 in there with it, thats antifungal... But the theory is to trigger a response with cold, but not with an ice water flush. Usually things like botryis is the result of high RH over a long period of time, I dont doubt that it will spike your RH in your room, but your dehuey should take care of that. And hate to say it but those huge colas every body loves tend to mold more.
I can say that cooler temps at night (mid 60's) pulled out more colors.
