Ok so heres the deal. I have a shit-ton of stuff and want to know how to use it all in the best way for the best bud.

List of shit
(2) 250 watt Metal Halide lights w/hoods
(1) 130 GPH water pump
(1) Air Pump
(1) 12" airstone
-Whole line of Technaflora nutritients
(1) Aerogarden- For cloning and seedlings

Plus a whole bunch of other stuff like pH up and down, timers, rockwool, rubbermaid containers, etc.

What would be the best way to setup my lights? 1 for flowering and 1 for seedlings or two for flowing and use aerogarden for seedings? My plan is to set up and ebb+flow system with an airstone in the res for added oxygen. My clones will be in a seperate area underneath the ebb+flow tray next to the resevoir. Can you guys think of anything else i need for my setup or have any suggestions for me?

if you have rubbermaid containers i'd do dwc system...its one of the most easy to use hydro's out there...and yea use the aero for cuttings then just move them over when there a foot or so tall.
good luck on the grow.

I have heard a lot of things about DWC being better than Ebb+Flow and vis versa. Why do you choose dwc? Is one airstone enough or should i get another? Also what should I do with my lights, (2) 250 watt MH for flowering or just one? Its about a 2x3 foot area.

i whould build a wooden table/tray for how ever many plants u can handle..use the rubbermaid for res with air stone for added oxygen..Aerogarden for clones..u had the right idea..if u do the dwc then u need more shit..just use what u have..the only thing u need is some wood and thats cheap..good lucl..peace

your pile of stuff look like this? that's only actually about a third of what youll need, budget started at 1500 lol.

Floods or DWC will both be good ways to go. For my first grow, I used DWC, and the plants loved it...
Next, I got ambitious did a Rubbermaid aero setup and I killed 15 plants due to root rot.
The more I read up on flood tables the more I liked them,
I spent $600 and bought 4 flood tables, I have never felt so confident in growing. I would really reccommend Ebb&Flow!

thats the way i feel too. ebb & flow are more forgiving if ur power go's out..and u can play with water levels for roots.. to see just how much ur roots will seekout when you lower the levels...just fun shit...and u have most of what u need...peace:blsmoke:
