I've got a .500 shortie (4" bbl) that I pack when 4 wheeling in a really nice holster from Diamond D leather but I'd much rather have my Whitworth if I gotta face down a bear again.

Yeah, that 500 shortie seems like it would be a fantastic life saver around there too, and yet much more portable compared to a rifle. I'm sure my 460 would work, but it IS a fucking huge gun. Heavy as shit to carry around, but it's what I got as far as hand cannons go, so.

Oh yes and the real reason I'm in this thread, I spent yesterday at the CB base (Port Hueneme), it was a transcendent day. A few picturesque clouds in a bright blue sky. I ended the day by consuming an entire lobster ALL BY MYSELF and I drank the drawn butter like a beverage oh and let's not forget the Pacifico Clara they had (so butter with a beer back) ...... OMG HEAVEN that's what it looked like and

and my lobster looked something like this:

Next week I'm driving back for him:

It's going to be a scientific experiment. I'm going to compare him to one of these guys:

I am now not eating for the rest of the week, buuuuuuuuuuuurp.
