Nothing too fancy but Thor likes to follow me around the house so he'll lay down in his bed if I'm in the kitchen or whatever

Coincidentally , I soon afterwards acquired a thing for milk bone biscuits & seemed to have a really keen sense of smell.

This is my lab/pit mix N.J. I found her outside of the north jail when I was visiting my brother. She was around 8 weeks old when I got her in May. Now she's becoming a beast. Friendly beast. I just brought her home to the kids from where I was keeping her. She loves it here.


And here is her getting acquainted with Winston who is not so fond of her lol.


And here's Winstons brother, Preston.
He's skittish. He doesn't want the puppy near him at all lol.

Doing really well on his injections every 2 mths. If the cat rescue had found him before me, he'd be dead now because they don't rehome FIV cats. Best thing I ever found!

Found a new kitten in a pile of junk on the side of my house. I think it's Winston's kitty. It's like his mini me. I named him Junior.

He's hiding between Winston and the wall in the pic. Jr. Is scared of humans but not N.J.

It's feline HIV, unfortunately. That's why I can't get another cat or let this one out. He doesn't mind being a house cat, he hated his first 6 mths on the street.

He's a very special and clever cat. Easy to train and very obedient (for a cat). He's the best ever.

It's taken since jan 2014 to get them to this level of acceptance. Patience and consistency. They prefer it when I'm in the middle though!

Perspective is weird. 30kg and 4.5 kg the cat looks huge!

It's feline HIV, unfortunately.

I've always wondered if FIV was endemic, and we just recently found out about or if it jumped ship from HIV in us with HIV. I also wonder if HIV was truly new in the 70's, or it was always there just airplanes and molecular genomics helped it spread and be found, respectively.

The way viruses have jumped back and forth, we'll probably never really know.

My kitty is FIV+ too, and I want another to keep him company, but in the same boat as you. Love those eyes though!

left the Chrysler out on the street last night but forgot to lock & set it. Someone got in & into the glove box but one of my girls, which is kind as can be otherwise, heard them & went out to scare them off. "Good girl!!!"



No valuables were in the car & no damage was done.
Guess it's time AGAIN to have a talk with my mental giant of a neighbor who seems to think its a good Idea to hire seedy strangers off the street, show them where he lives & even go as far as to allow them to sleep in his truck?
I mean I have nothing against helping someone out but "WTF DUDE?!?!?!?!"
