I agree, a great hobby... and the end result is great too and sure beats those pills the doctors push on me.. Next place, I want to go DWC. Figured I would get some grows under my belt and learn the ropes and plants in soil then try out the DWC, they say the harvest can be bigger that way. I have 4 clones going now, waiting for the two bushes I have in the grow space to move to flower, I will probably take at least 4 -6 more clones off of them before they move. I like to watch the clones mature, very relaxing to me... the more I clone, the more I learn. The more I grow, the more I learn

i started with DWC was hard root rot all the time now have the right stuff works great every thing right on point without checking daily
good nutes made for DWC http://www.skunklabshc.com/shop.html easy to follow feed chart
Thanks... will book mark that one... Appreciate the insight..I heard somewhere (read really as use newbies read a ton) that DWC may lessen the potency? Any truth to that or knowledge of?

Oh, glad you mentioned that power outage thing... shutting down the pumps can be disastrous right? Its not like losing the light for a day, while thats bad, wouldnt the pumps being out be worse or along the same lines?

The 20 gal tote sounds smart...Really the 5 gal buckets need water every day?? I have read up on scrog some and want to try, but will probably wait since my veg area is separate from flower area and moving them will present issues. But planning a work around to that too... a seasoned member here told me about getting one of those totes that goes under the bed that has wheels and setting up the scrog with pvc in that for the plants... may try that for my 3rd or 4th grow and see what happens.. I am thinking of taking a ton of clones off of the bushes I have now and doing a SOG of sorts this next grow instead of just taking a few clones off.

In the first two pictures it looks like a blurry pic of spidermites in webbing. It freaked me out. Not calling it that. Just an observation.
HookahsGarden, THANK YOU!!! You saved my butt and hopefully my buds! You were right on! It took me forever to see and find them, but two buds and a couple of leaves had spidermites on them, you know how freaking hard it is to see when you shake and the loop is always moving... But I stuck with it until I scoured every inch of the plant. They were little brown ass bugs, assuming spider mites as you stated. I spent two hours using a mini vacuum made for keyboards to suck the suckers off, all the bubs, all the leaves the branches and main stem. Then I sprayed the whole plant with insecticidal soap. I hope that takes care of them. Plus I vacuumed the whole closet and sprayed it down too, from ceiling to floor. Hard newbie lesson to learn, never bring a plant from outside to the indoors... THANK YOU for hopefully saving my buds and butt.

Holy shit!

Good luck man!

I'm glad I helped.
I hope you beat them. I don't know how to get rid of spider mites in flower, no experience with it.
Suck em off , just might work!
