Lights timer has failed

Hi all experienced indoor growers....

Would well appreciate any help with a nightmare i woke up to. I have 4 seedlings that have been above soil about 3 days , about 2 or 3 cm tall. i put a timer switch for the lights yesterday afternoon. Yesterday was they're first day of 23 hrs and i planned to decrease by 1 hour a day until they get 18 or 19 hrs a day.
i woke up this morn and the timer switch has failed !!! No lights on and only 21 degrees. I am pretty sure that babies of this age are mega sensitive about not having light cycle messed up.
So if they had one hour of night yesterday 12 - 1pm , what should i do today ? im not sure when the timer failed during the night, so dont know how many hours of night they have had, possibly only 1.5 hrs of darkness , but the switch failed so its not necessarily accurate
Am i correct in thinking that messing the light cycle could stress them enough to turn hermaphrodite?
Thanks in advance for any help

Dont worry, put the light back on and they'll be good, they wont hermaphrodite over this and prob wont feel much stress if any.

You can have the lights off a full 24 hrs before theres any chance of going hermaphrodite so a few hours wont do jack buddy .... you dont have a problem here so keep the lights on and they'll be good to go :)

hope this helps :)

you can if you want, dont go past 18/6 though.

You can leave them under 24/0 no problem, people will debate and others wont :)

Digital timers suck. Cheap analog timers are far better and more reliable.
