.....I'm not so sure now.
Today I decided to go a different way to walk the dogs as I was doing a walk/jog type thing. It wasn't any where that required my dogs to be leashed. It was a very warm day today and after a while they were choking for a drink. Well this year we have had sop much water that the entire water table is higher.

I got the little dogs to get a drink from a place that used to be like a small pond that they could both stand in.
ok....not any more.
I guided my dogs to a place where they dropped into the water and their little heads went right under. The little one right away hung onto the edge, while the other kept trying to swim around in circles.
I was SOO xlose to jumping in with my pants, shoes and all but instead I crawled on the ground and reached as far down the bank that i could. The bigger of the two almost crawled right up me she was so freaked out
and the other one just hung on to the edge looking like a drowled rat.
I feel like such a bad mommy to them. The looks on their little faces was heart breaking.
Not like they care....they had a blast shoprtly after so i suppose they are fine.
