Staking plants late in flower

Sometimes I do...sometimes I wait...depends how big they were going in
I've made a habbit out of doing it like this for a long time now. Buds flopping all over the place pisses me off. No matter what setup, or how big the plants are.
7 gal pots with stakes:

1gal pots with trellis:

Both ways, and everything in between, is done up at around 2-2.5 weeks in, so
i'm not dealing with it later on(when it's much harder to).

I already did so. Just wanted to see if anyone as seen a negative effect stalking plants late in
I've done it for years

I insert a meter(3ft) of bamboo in late veg

and have yet to observe any neg. effects

tho it must hurt..? with some root damage?

all it seems ok, and soon recover undamaged

important tho is to tie with plastic wire ties, or hemp string

with the knot on the stake side not the weed side

as you don't wanna strangle that precious xylem

good luck

What kind of lights- soil @Aeroknow .

And are those boot trays from Menard's the pots sit in?
The trays are 4x8 botanicare OD trays.
The one gal pots are coco/perlite. The 7 gals are filled with vermisoil. After i finish with the vermisoil pallet(almost there), i'm probably going back to coco/perlite in everything, at least for a while.
Most of my setups have been converted to DE lights:-)

I tested out putting a cage around one of my plants and it worked awesome. I will most likely using it in the future. I weighted down the cage with heavy duty hex nuts twist tied to the cage

I'm surprised that no one has come out with a cage/trellis setup yet for a scrog plant, like what your plant practically is.
I would rock 1 plant per light scrog if i could still move that plant around, if needed.
I suppose I could build one. One of these days i will:-D

The last few years outdoor here in NorCal, me and my buddies were double caging, and than draping trellis netting over the plants. 5-8lb plants.

with extreme cold i been having bud size has hurt but the density of buds are like rocks i mean took lower branch trimmed all buds dried and telling you god dam buds are holding weight my temps have been - 4 degrees to 18 averaging 12 degrees i wanted to let her flower naturally but since going into flower middle of 1 st week of sept i really have had over cast and shitty weather ,, next year its light dep middle of august giving me a good 2 weeks of good sun what this girl surely missed still thinking the extreme cold giving my buds the density is also going to help me in the weight i expected 6 - 8 pound harvest but now thinking 4 - 6 maybe who knows until she is all dry but yeah lower branch gave me over 3 oz dry and it took 3 weeks to dry with little to no shrinkage really in awe here i mean the smoke is wicked even people that seen the weed smelled it said this looks indoor

Hell ya man. I'm into growing fewer but bigger plants. To me its less hassle. I have not run scrog.I don't like they idea of not be able to move the plants around
