Make sure the plant is dry before watering or else you gonna over water and thats notngood. Also next time you feed give them water till it really starts to take off
Just a follow up from my over watered poor soil seedlings.
I transplanted into good quality soil into a bigger pot, and not only has the droop resolved it is showing some signs of growth! (Stem growth and second stage of leaves). This makes me feel like we have salvaged the seedling! I went for the large pot transplant to avoid transplanting it again after rescuing it.
However, it has been 7 days since the transplant (day 16 in total), and I have not watered it yet (the transplant soil was moist). There is still (barely) some water at the tips of my fingers a knuckle deep - and I am petrified of over watering a seedling in a disproportionately big pot. The water meter shows there is good water at the very base of the pot.
Should I water today 7 days later? Any tips for watering the large pot/small plant combo. Everywhere just says 'use less water'.
I'm thinking adding 0.25- 0.5L RO H2O + Rhizotonic to the area around the plant just to be conservative. Hows that sound? Willing to do anything to save these genetics!
Thankyou!
