What you fail to acknowledge is ALL coercion based governments have "irrational control" of individuals as a systemic foundation.
Rearranging WHERE AND FROM WHOM the orders come from is of little significance to the cotton pickers in chains.
Any government which ARISES from coercion (all that exist today) should be suspect, otherwise it's a game of who gets to hold the whip.

Not only did you cite the constitution, but most people don't even know about ARTICLE 5 as a way for the states to restrict power and jurisdiction of the federal government. Problem is, it takes three quarters of the states. States usually don't work closely with one another. Not on the same level they do the feds anyway.
