Who Chopped Due to Rain?

Central Cali reporting in with big chop due to rain. Sprayed some Safer about 2 weeks ago and stopped the caterpillars in their tracks, was planning on a good wash in another week or two but got a kick-ass thunderstorm roll through today. Had sampled a few branches two weeks ago, prior to applying Safer and was pleasantly surprised.

3 outdoor Snowcap/Bubba crosses. All 3 were revegges. The 'samples' I took were from broken branches while preparing for an out of town trip.

Figure the Great Space Jew in the Sky was telling me it's time so he gave me a natural wash :bigjoint:

I left one of three to try and finish. One was airy, one semi-dense and the 3rd rock hard. All 3 were clones originally but finished differently from each other.

Left the semi-dense.

Central Cali had strong thunder and lighting with at times, extremely heavy downpours.

Edit for clarification: PARTS of Central Cali got hit with severe thunder storms.

It was a good year here where I am in the northeast. Mine have been down for a couple weeks now. I've heard people closer to the coast got lots of rain and some mold issues.

lack of direct sun light probably
Not that I can think of. All three were exposed to the same amount of light, all day every day. They were all side by side in a spot that gave no shade from sun up to sundown, except for a little early morning shade until the sun popped up over a 6 foot fence. So full and direct sunlight from 730am-dark.

Yeah we had crazy thunderstorms here. Not normal. A lightning hit a tree branch which the wind blew which fell right threw the greenie. Broke off a half lb chunk of a plant. Everything else was fine.

Yeah it was fun with wind rain lightning and no power for 30 hours. I guess this el Nino may be for real.
That pic is "kinda" beautiful. For sure, we need the rain, but I see that pic and having come from a land surveying background I also think of all the water that we waste to runoff. Let alone the pollutants we add to it.

I'm about 45 minutes south of Fresno here. Surrounded by orange trees on corporate farm land. They sprayed the trees all night last night and started again tonight. I assume they are warding off mold/mildew?

Well you are not too far from me. Im another 45 min south. Yeah I think ot would have to be for mold. Definitely not cold enough for freeze yet. I love some of those Clementine cuties.

Taking my plants down due to rain being forecast all next week and then some, I'm taking the top half of my plants to try and let the lower buds fatten up some and just taking the top half of my plants will/has kept me busy trimming and will keep me busy for several more days...after a week I should be ready for the rest...Damn I hate trimming! grin, wink.

I have decided to put up my little greenhouse that I got @ TSC and let my third plant go until she won't go no more.
