I was wondering how everyone dates the jars? Is it by the day you put it in the jar or are there other methods?
That is a great idea.I dated a jar once, but when I tried to take off her top, she burped.... bud duh bump...
I print little 1" x 4" labels using Avery label software and stick them on the jars when filling. I always label with the strain name, harvested date and the number of weeks the plant was budding at the time of harvest.
Does that really work? Cus if this is true, send this idea to high times so we can smell their centerfolds.A 2" x 2" piece of paper in the jar itself with the harvest and final lockdown sealed cure date. When the bud is gone so goes the paper and nothing is written on or stuck to your jars and you can use the paper for a scratch and sniff...
best way.I put a piece of masking tape on the jar and write the date it went into the jar, the type that is in there and any other specifics that I need.
