add that to a brewer and apply with watering? do I have to dilute that or just use the 5 gallons as my water? and how long should it bubble? And simple acct if you havent been aplying yet. 1 tbsp molasses. 3-4 cups ewc. 5 gallon bucket
I've never done a tea. no brewer but I'm gonna get one in a couple days. also when you say kelp and alfalfa. how much of those to water? and same thing just use the dilute as a watering?Yes. Plan ahead take notes. Lol.
But in the mean time, top dress eith 1/2 inches or so ewc. Right away. This xsnt hurt.
Secound. How often do you apply aact?
A simple nutrient tea can be useful
Kelp. Alfalfa maybe guanos if you want. Bubbles for 48 hours. Strain and serve. 1 tbsp each per gallon max for me on nutrients.
Reverse osmosis filter. Or buy water.idk what other water there is? lol well water? I live in a commercial/residential area. so cal.
the EWC and molasses tea. this tea is crucial for living soil. i thought we recommended this to you in the other post you made? also if youre using city water... that could be why your plants are so unhappy. chlorine/chloramine is harmful to microbes and fungi.I've never done a tea
yeah my bad @ShLUbY I looked and the brewers I seen are freaking expensive and yeah I didn't have that kinda money. if you can link me to a good inexpensive one i can get started. I have the BSM now. and ewc.the EWC and molasses tea. this tea is crucial for living soil. i thought we recommended this to you in the other post you made? also if youre using city water... that could be why your plants are so unhappy. chlorine/chloramine is harmful to microbes and fungi.
bubble 24-48 hrs heavily. lots of O2. the microbes you produce in this tea will get your soil population of microbes up and they'll get to work on the amendments.
is it a potassium def though before I do this? cause I'll buy it tonight while I wait to order a bubbler.http://organicallydone.com/content/bloom-boost-potassium-charge
potassium charge, topdress, work in lightly and water in. 1-2 tbsp seems like alot per their recommendation. id go 1-2 tsp
buying water would be too damn expensive. and also is there like portable to machines? what do they range from and to? any other way?Reverse osmosis filter. Or buy water.

@ShLUbY is spot on! Aact is crucial. And the K def is one thing but i see major N problems coming on to. Aact will likely help both in short order.yeah my bad @ShLUbY I looked and the brewers I seen are freaking expensive and yeah I didn't have that kinda money. if you can link me to a good inexpensive one i can get started. I'm gonna let my homie know bout the pump. and that water is gonna add up. and with my bills and all I can't do 60 dollars a month. I have 6 plants and each are taking like 3 gallons a day with this damn heat. other wise they take 1 or 2 every 2 or 3 days. which is still a lot a month. haha landlord pays water so idgaf bout tap lol that's why I rather invest in a ro system.you dont need a BREWER. you need a 5 gal bucket, a pump like this one ( http://www.amazon.com/EcoPlus-728450-Single-Outlet-Commercial/dp/B002JLJC0W/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1444789457&sr=8-6&keywords=air pump ) your local grow shop should have something like this, and a couple weighted air stones like this ( http://www.amazon.com/Hydrofarm-ASCL-Large-Active-Cylinder/dp/B00564IT5S/ref=pd_sim_86_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=0QQ85KRF1C0D1ARWBTN3&dpID=51SRdseK7HL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160,160_ ) and you can now make AACT. again your grow store should have this stuff. and you'll need some air tubing to run to the stones. you want violent bubbling action in your bucket. this is why 4 gal in a 5 gal bucket. EWC + BSM + 4gal clean water + bubble 24-48 hrs = microbe heaven.
but dude, for real, you need to get off the city water because it's making it impossible to keep a microherd alive. For now, i've read that you can dechlorinate water with the BSM. it turns chloramine into chlorine gas and some nitrogenous gas, i can't remember what one. but either way, they will both evaporate out of the city water. if you do a google search i'm sure you can find out how much BSM to add to a bucket of water. it's not much. plus the BSM is good for those microbes in the soil.
as for the K def. I would get this microbe tea in asap and see if that stops them from getting more crispy edges.
i'd order the K boost anyway. I've found that 1-2 tsp works really well in the applications i've used it so far as a topdress spread evenly as possible over the main root zone, and i've used as they suggest as far as once when flower first start to show, and once 3 weeks after that. i should do a side by side with that product soon just to see if it's not grower placebo lol.
buying water is really not that expensive man. my local grow store sells RO water from their demo unit for like 39cent a gallon or something. i see guys show up with buckets alll the time lol.
RO is the way to go. been loving mine so far. for now you can use the BSM to dechlorinate your water and i think that'll help you out a lot.I'm gonna let my homie know bout the pump. and that water is gonna add up. and with my bills and all I can't do 60 dollars a month. which ro system do you have?RO is the way to go. been loving mine so far. for now you can use the BSM to dechlorinate your water and i think that'll help you out a lot.
must be nice.. hahaha I just ordered a 5 gallon brewer for like 45 bucks. by extreme gardening. and a hydro logic small boy? or little boy.i bought mine 2nd hand. i'd have to go and look at the brand or whatever but it's a 3 stage with a carbon filter and some other filter after that. comes out between 1-7 ppm. he said when it had brand new filters it was 0 ppm.
you can veg as long as you want, as long as you provide the roots room to grow. how big is your container and have they been in that one container their whole lives?I've came to the conclusion that my issues and deficiencies are 1 or both because I stopped letting my water dechlorinate and because my ss may be depleted of food.
but after my soil mix posted how long would it generally last me? I've been vegging for 2 months. is that too long? and also my other problem is a definite one I can't keep any of this micro life alive to feed my plant the stuff they need.
All of these guys have given great advice. However, if you'd like a quick and easy fix while you're learning all about teas and your microherd, I may be able to help a bit.idk what other water there is? lol well water? I live in a commercial/residential area. so cal.

First off for your water, an RO system is ideal but of course it's costly. I've done many very successful organic grows simply using a dechlorinator when RO wasn't an option. This one is usually available at most hydro shops and a ~$20 bottle will last you months.

Next for your P and K deficiency, I'd highly recommend getting yourself a bottle of organic bloom nutrients to get you through this grow while you dial in that soil. You don't need to go nuts and buy a whole line, a small bottle of EJ Grand Finale, or Buddha Bloom or Peak Harvest Bloom or just some liquid bone meal and kelp powder... Or check if your hydro shop has samples of that Nectar of the Gods organic line, most I know are sitting on boxes of the stuff (meh as a full line but you could definitely use their "soil nutrient" or bone meal to correct your deficiencies and you can't beat free).
Also when you're asking about samples, see if they have any inoculates, we're still giving away handfulls of the Recharge microbe pack samples... that stuff is faaaantastic for jumpstarting and maintaining your microherd.

Here's some bagseed I grew out all organic with only samples and freebies, so nothing was dialed or even matching nute wise lol, but overall I'm quite pleased. Just to show it will be okay if you "cheat" a little and grab a bottle
