What light schedule are they on? Have you tried a test bud?

Ive seen outdoor plants brought indoor before rains start have poor production. Nothing compares to the real sun.

I agree with alienwidow, I moved my plants indoors back in Sept because of the threat of a wicked storm coming up the coast and they kinda stalled. I took off some of the top buds after a couple of weeks and left the bottom to go to see if they would fatten up, but it didnt turn out. It could be the change in environment... I would let them go for a while and watch the trichomes closely... but take a test bud and see, cant hurt can it...

If your plants started to flower in mid September you should go until at least mid November... right? Eight weeks is sort of an average (but early) flowering time. I brought mine inside about the same time but my plants were still barely out of seedling. I tried a summer start with the plan to bring them in around early September mainly to save on my power bill.

How do you know if the test buds mature enough with quick drying, im guessing theres something about the taste, but i'd like to know for sure?

@Paul M Plants look great btw, I just got a mini microscope off of amazon to help me when know when im ready to harvest, maybe something like that might help you, i dunno :)

60x slide magnifier with light. All day long on eBay I've gotten them for as cheap as 2 bucks a piece free shipping. Are they cheap Chinese junk,? Yep but they last forever and work great. Harvest is preferential and subjective. Read about what the trichomes look like when they are ripe and how the thc is affected in every stage of ripening. Also how the thc degradation will affect the performance of your finished product.

I planted some outdoor in August and they didn't start flowering until September and now they are at about week 6 of flowering and I will be harvesting them around Halloween. Personally I think you should have kept them outdoors.. but they will finish inside, just watch out for pests when bringing outside in, and definitely don't fertilize them, as they are close enough to harvest where you wouldn't want to ruin any flavor.

Ya man, if it tastes good you can take it down a little early if you have to. If it tastes like hay or grass then its not ready.

when you say fertilize them I get confused I think of Fertilize as the dirt I use Ocean forest but I am wondering if you are meaning something else ? like Nutrients I give them the Nuts. I flushed them cause they were looking odd and it took 4 days for them to need water again so I gave them nuts for flowering it's onto day two now and still don't need water not even close should I give them the Kool bloom for the last two weeks as I did my other ones I finished outside which were faster finishing?

ya I have one of them some of them are milky but not the majority of them I am not seeing no brown hairs either my other plants got 40 percent brown hairs on the buds they where a indica dominate hybrid I think these three are taking a lot longer so I am guessing they are a sativa dominate when you say try some do you mean cut down one of the arms and test it that way or just cut off one of the buds on the branch ?

Look at the trichomes, forget the hair the hairs don't me crap. It's a huge misconception that the hair will tell. If I had harvested my high plains drifter based on hair I would have cut her down with mostly clear trichomes. Unless they are all milky I wouldn't even bother with a sample try. My opinion only by the way.
