bud dying

I found a spot on a top nug tonight while harvesting that is dried looks bomb but is weird being in the middle of a wet nug...can this happen without it being bud rot? It doesnt look like mold. Should i bust it open or let the rest of the nug dry? Il go try and get a pic

Id just break the big cola into little buds and dry it on a screen or something. If it is you dont want anyone smoking it.

Its hard to tell its a small spot but its right on a fan leaf that won't budge if tugged

Im sure il be smoking 95% of it myself if it is il cut and smoke around it. Just seemed odd to me especially in super dry california and it wasnt a huge dense plant

Pulled the bud apart it was still sticky but something looked a lil off so i threw away the dead piece and cracked the nug in half and found this fucker. Do worms die after u start drying or am i gonna have to cut up my crop?

I would at least check by pulling open to look in the colas. I wouldnt want to smoke any worms. Next year spray some caterpillar spray.

This is the only worm I've seen all year. And the only brown spot...do they keep eating when its dry?

I doubt it. They probably go somewhere else. Ive always gotten rid of them before i see what you showed.
