***The 7th Official Party Cup Grow Competition Thread***

Cupdate Friday. She's not the prettiest looking but not doing to bad and bulking up to be one big cola. Her friend has her N excess and clawing but bulking up nicely too. They're both 8weeks old I think 5 or 6 weeks into flower I'm not totally sure I'll have to look. I think that's about it have a good weekend.

Where Have You Been SweatHog???? Well Of Course My Root's Are Coming Out Of My Upper Res Durp Check Out Pics 6 & 7 :eek: Oh The Upper Res Fits Into The lower Res I.E The 16 oz Party Cup. :wall:

Yes, Dawgie didn't explain well what he has going on.
Now I think I get it - must have cut the cup down and all that jankie ass duct tape is holding his upper cup back together and the lower "res" cup it all fits in is a 16 oz cup?

Yeah but pic looks like its double cupped? It all functions as 1 unit?

As long as your "Outer Jacket" is a 16oz cup and everything is contained within, you can do whatever you want inside of it.
I am a hydro kind of guy and may have to look into a media-less approach next comp but my coco girl is just so worry free :mrgreen:
 
If the next comp host bans something I think it should be Blumats - wheres the ingenuity on the growers part using those?
Or maybe Blumat can sponsor the comp and require us all to use them - "Blumats, it's what plants crave" :lol:

But the inner cup is 1" higher than the 16 ounce base cup which effectively creates more than 16 ounce of interior space. Or you could say the "outer jacket" is not containing everything inside of it. Is there not a vertical limit to the cup?
