Just a mess this whole PP thing.

Republicans are acting like they had no knowledge of fetus "procurement" and are arguing over semantics. They know they can't shut down PP unless they admit to altering abortions to gain better tissue samples.

PP is not going to admit to that on trial. They know what they can and can't say.

Abortion is legal. I personally think it's sad that so many women want abortions, but enough did to sway congress to make it legal. I think it is sad that the majority of abortions are not because of incest/rape but for personal career or monetary reasons. I think it is sad that per capita, black women have 3x as many abortions as white women. (9.3 per 1000 white, 31.8 per 1000 black in 2010) http://www.cdc.gov/reproductivehealth/data_stats/

But it is too late. Congress tries to act "uncomfortable" when they are selling/donating/whatever you want to call it baby tissue. They knew it was happening.

Are they trying to cover their own asses? I wonder if they think the public was mostly unaware of the donations and so they are trying to act shocked as well..

congress did not make abortion legal, the supreme court decided that it was a basic constitutional right.

I meant the law they passed saying it was legal to abort up to a certain week and to donate tissue for reasonable storage compensation.

the SCOUS ruled. there are three branches of government. learn this before attempting to discuss politics.
