Suggestions on a Grow Cabinet for high yields.

Whats up RIU Community?

Boogie here trying to decide what the minimum grow cabinet requirements to pump out a pound or two from a couple of strong indicas? I didnt know if it was better to go with LED in a stealth cabinet grow or hps? I want to just buy the whole thing in one run from ebay or amazon. My budget is a maximum of 500 but anything under 300 would be a god send thanx.

Your budget would be gone just in buying a light whether it's an hid or an led.
In a cabinet or enclosed area your main problems will be heat and room. An led would be your best bet but even building a cob rig you will use your whole budget.

What you could do is buy an old used cabinet or armoire and do some diy to get it going.
Your gonna use cfl or t5s on seedlings n clones for awhile anyway and then save some more cash for the bigger light when it's time.

You could put that together yourself for 100$ and have 400 plus left over to put towards your light

That would easily put out a pound or two. It would just take 6-7 harvests to do it. It doesn't say what kind of cfls it uses and is just a painted lockbox with a Tupperware container in the bottom.
