I'm growing big bud right now and it's been topped twice, seems to enjoy being topped, so I guess, everything done accordingly, I can expect a nice harvest myself. Cool.
The breeder did state it's a "high yeild" but I'm not exactly sure how that equates weight wise when it's dried and cured vs the og kush I'm also growing which is an average yield. I guess I'll know around December.
Nice, sounds good...But so far as the Big Bud, Overdrive and there other flowering nutrients I'm not too sure about, but they seem to work good, but Voodoo Juice, Tarantula, and Piranha are a must have! Oh yea and Rhino Skin!

If you use Connoisseur then you are funding a racket extortion market.
Well, I'm using Connoisseur. And it seems to be working well thus far.

I don't claim to be up on all current events, but I've not heard of any allegations of extortion on the part of AN.

I kinda like AN. I currently have a comparison grow going: AN vs. a tried-and-true organic soil I mix myself.

It's here, if you want to follow:

Honestly I would love to do my own organic soil mix but right now it's just much more convenient for me to crack open a bottle and mix it up real quick and get pretty good results in my opinion. But I'll definitely check out your thread.

Big Bud, Critical Mass,G13, etc. are well known to be some of the heaviest yielding strains for a reason. They can produce 2X-5X the normal weight of a regular plant. They are often used in hybrids to increase the yield of another strain. Their problem is quality of the buzz, they're not very potent. It's the old argument of giving up some quality for a higher yield. It's a trade-off done for business ($$$$) purposes.

The thing that stands out to me is the line, "Btw the total cost of the nutrients from beginning to end of harvest $115." So, all your ferts for a couple plants was ONLY $115. I grow 24 at a time so that's about $900 a crop????? I don't think so. Botanicare and I have a very good relationship......
