outside plant problems

It is Sept. 25th, my outdoor plants have been growing since mid april. they are monster trees, but still no sign of flowering. the smell is very potent. What is going on? When will they start budding?

Where do you live in general? Northern hemisphere? South? What is the average freeze date where you live?

A picture is worth a thousand words. At least.

You can get them to begin flowering by doing a "force flower." Plants need to be covered after twelve hours to simulate fall. They will need to be covered up to keep them from freezing so they can continue living till they finish up. I'm guessing that they are already in the beginning days of flowering. The flowers may still be green.... Any pics?

even if he force flowered now the plants would never finish, not in washington
I agree with yahooman.. I think you would have been better force flowering them earlier in the year. If the weather starts to get too wet and your plants still need a few more weeks.. my best recommendation is finishing the flowering cycle by running them as 24/7 indoor plants under 600 watt high pressure sodium bulbs. However, if you plants are too large; then I would watch them like a hawk and cut them down upon the first sign of budrot or powery mildew. Even if your girls can survive the cold and rain during the first 3 weeks of flowering.. they are almost certainly going to be budrot from week 4 though the end of harvest. I have a YouTube channel where I explain the basics of a light deprivation grow. Hope this helps and good luck!

Clone the branches and start a massive indoor forest?

I've had plants flower in 24/7 light, granted the light at night was significantly dimmer. 12 lux and sometimes higher.

I gotta agree with you, I just would hate to give em up. Being that they are large plants - The only way to cover them would be to cut them to a smaller size so the buds don't get messed up covering them and taking it off. Make clones from the parts you cut off like said before.
