would like some info on led lights

I have not yet started growing yet but am moving to CO in February. My cousin is currently in Cali doing his first outdoor season and has several years of indoor experience but is stuck on HPS. We are both going to rent a place in CO and I have been doing some research into LED and am thinking it is the way to go. I just found out about area 51 today and am impressed with what i have read so far. I am looking at these w90s and do not quite understand the difference between the 3000k 4000k and 5000k models and was wondering if someone could explain this a little to me..any info would be greatly appreciated

4000k for a veg/flower light 3000k for a bloom dedicated light and 5000k for a veg dedicated light.

ok thanks so if i did some research and bought a bunch of Bridgelux Vero 29 v2 3000k which is whats in the area 51 w90, and got all the other components together i could essentially just make my own for alot less $?

ok well i could get 16 of the w90s shipped for 2325 which is only 145 a piece and honestly having a warranty and not having to take all the time to learn about it is probably a better option for me how much money would i save if i made them my self and do u think its worth my time learning about it...i'm fairly intelligent and have always been good at electronics and know that i could learn about it if i took the time to..but would the money i save be worth it or should i just go with the warranty

I don't think you can go wrong with the W90's, but building a quality lamp is fully detailed in these threads and could save you 25% thru DIY.

The theory of AC//DC wiring is more complicated than the build and where most hang up.....
