i germinated 35 only 27 sprouted and it is 3 week ago27? Not 28?
hps i can't use them as it is not easy to find here (mauritius grower)and i was planning on using fluoresent guy can i get them to grow with 2000 wattYea teerouven it really depends on your spending limit or the amount resources you already have, if you don't have as much to spend to go for a mh and hps combo grow you could just hps the whole grow
You mean fluorescent as in cfl? And it really depends more on the lumens than watts to determine how good the growth will behps i can't use them as it is not easy to find here (mauritius grower)and i was planning on using fluoresent guy can i get them to grow with 2000 watt
ok i am thinking of using about 4000w of cfl bulb and i am cracking a window for air and a fan for air culation and temp..wwill that be okYou mean fluorescent as in cfl? And it really depends more on the lumens than watts to determine how good the growth will be
yea it depends on how much your electrical panel can takeok i am thinking of using about 4000w of cfl bulb and i am cracking a window for air and a fan for air culation and temp..wwill that be ok
That should have been taken in to account before you germinated those seeds. Unless you plan on tossing the extras. Because that's your choice. Either give the 27 the light they need. Or pick out what you can afford and that will tell you how many plants to toss.Yea teerouven it really depends on your spending limit or the amount resources you already have, if you don't have as much to spend to go for a mh and hps combo grow you could just hps the whole grow
With 27 plants the last thing I'd be using is cfl of fluorescent for anything other than germination. HID all the way!ok i am thinking of using about 4000w of cfl bulb and i am cracking a window for air and a fan for air culation and temp..wwill that be ok
apart from HID what can i use ...because i don't have the ballast for the bulbWith 27 plants the last thing I'd be using is cfl of fluorescent for anything other than germination. HID all the way!
The more bending that's done to each plant the MORE space that will be required. Which in the end means more light to cover more area. This would increase production as well as quality. But the counter balance of this equation means each plant takes up more area. I'd also suggest staying away from SATIVAS and hybrids. The stretch will only multiply my point about more fixtures. If the plants will be tied down to provide more light to each plant. Each plant might require its own fixture.so out of the 27, assuming these are regular and not feminized seeds, you should end up with males that you will need to toss and some runts that just aren't keeping up-this will get your numbers down. as others have mentioned, you need enough light for them to all survive and since you're in a country where you can't get HPS, can you get T5s? that is going to be your best bet. i've seen some good grows on here with just T5s. train your final number to make up for the lack of penetration with a low canopy.
This is very important! Start here or every other thought is irrelevant if the breakers can't handle it. 4000 watts in one room will most likely need an electrical upgrade.I bet your electric panel cant handle it...have you considered that? plus all your fans etc
