it's because there are 2 classes in this country today. 1% with all the money & 99% of the rest of us....."the poor"..

Theoretical flat tax rate - 7%

"Rich" man buys a $400,000 yacht. Tax = $28,000

The typical RIU "have-not" buys a $200 used bike - Tax = $14

Yes they do. Wrong is right and right is wrong.

Thanks to this socialist administration there is little incentive to work. Stealing from the haves and giving it to have-nots and then taking credit for how wonderful they are still buys votes albeit it from the losers, the 99% losers, if you will. The hell with the work ethic, morals, pride and self respect.

With your "flat tax" the Poor man makes $1000 a week & must spend $1000 a week on rent & food to just get by, no savings. So he will pay tax on 100% of his income......
The rich man buys his $400,000 yacht & pockets the rest of the $1,000,000 he made that month so he will only pay tax on 40% of his income......the other $600,000 is tax free.....you see it's a 100% tax on the poor.....not so much on the rich......you get it now?:dunce:
