Hi has anyone got the book, Secrets of the west coast masters?
I picked it up a few weeks ago, I will say they have a pretty sound method of getting an elbow+ per plant/per light/per 4x4 but they tried to make it a instructional and I think they fell short. Dont get me wrong, I think their methods are spot on as its done mathematically but all the other "fluff" in the book was either written when they were high as hell and forgot all sorts of things or they had some idiot high out of their minds proof reading it, and not good and really paying attention to detail high....cant keep your eyes open high.
They explain how to make hydro units, and half way through the explanation......it just strays away into something else, that seemed to happen a lot.
There was a snippet from the book in treating yourself magazine, whatever was in that article in TY mag was the most I learned from the west coast masters, I bought the book because of that article not realizing all the info I'd get out of the whole book was in that article.
Now it might sound like I'm bashing them a little and I am, but if and when they get their shit together and get someone who actually knows how to write a book with their ideas or a 2nd edition of "secrets of the west coast masters" I'd be the first to buy a copy. They know how to grow weed thats definitely obvious, I think a better job could have been done on a $40 book.
