I don't think the liberals have changed there policy on mj Ricky but they sure gave some insight in to what there legalized monopoly plan will be..... Tweed and the lps will be the only ones allowed to grow. keeping the gangs and gun runners out lmfao gun runners in Canada. This is what my take was from that lovely statement of fear mongering...

When the party says one thing and does another that's a problem for me...they said they would legalize and regulate...what more have they said except that if one of our candidates is pro pot publicly, we will nix them...what did I miss here? Why no comment oh how cancer is big business? Legalization is not going to change kids getting there hands on anything...and as long as someone wants to control the plant, there will be a black market...no stoping that...my apologies for the ass comment...

I'm not arguing the valid points anyone has made. CS is a huge organization, with many, many supporters. She is in the lime light and the statements she made fall in line with Harpers attack strategy. Now it's easy for any other party to say the libs support kids using mj, via her statements about growing and domestic violence. There is a whole lot of truth in the statements but as the cons have already played the justin wants to sell pot to kids card, those statements alone are very damming.

Then add the fact she essentially picked a fight with a huge organization, and again I agree with her that the CS would be in bed with pharma, but putting it all together I understand completely why she needed to be removed and silenced.

It's just politics and controlling party image.

Don't even get me started on the growing and domestic violence....I think we should get rid of all the pot and leave the booze in the house that kids can't access and doesn't cause any kind of domestic violence...SARCASM...like I said befor , it's time to stop being politically correct...

I agree Rick. However I think it would be important to have a back bone at least once during this campaign though.

The Liberal Alberta Anti Jew rant girl deserved what she got. The things she said will keep her out of politics for life. This was not anywhere similar. If Trudeau provided the stats on domestic violence reduction and crime reduction etc.etc. that's going on in the USA right now I think he would have came out looking a lot better.

He could have ignored the Cancer Society comments as everyone with half a clue can tell by looking on the internet what the cancer society is all about.

Trudeau has consistently proven he's absolutely petrified of Conservative attacks and has been steadily trying to limit them since before the Campaign even began. C-51 was his great idea, what has this accomplished? His attempts at this has painted him as a huge pussy in my eyes. I can't support someone to represent Canada while having no backbone. What happens when he starts playing the political chess match with Putin? Fucker will just hand over Canada.

I've been saying for a while now that the current system by design allows the monopolization of the market by select lp's before the market opens with legalization. Brand building and investment etc so they have the head start to crush any completion who enters the market.

It's all so fucked right now, but it will be better soon.

I believe anyone will be able to grow at home, but the market will be in place for those who want to buy from a store and the current lp's will have the head start.

I'm voting for the nicest hair. Isn't that what we are supposed to do? May has to many stragglers in there and so does Justin, they need to get their hairs under control or remove them from the scalp.

While Harper and Mulcair have a nice helmet of hair I have to go with the one that doesn't look like it's hiding maniacal brain from a comic book. Tom you win this round.

Hopefully your politics don't fall as flat as your hair....

Are we really sure teens shouldn't be smoking weed? the science backing up that claim has not been refuted yet? I can't help but think if a had a better supply of high quality cannibis is a teen life would have been so much easier. And I think it's safe and appropriate to consider its use for medical conditions for much younger children. The whole holistic market that's developed shows how much regular everyday people are willing to seek remedy so outside of big pharmas "solutions". There's bigger and bigger anti vaccination movements. Anti fluoride ect ect. It's not just mmj users who are bucking the trend.

It's been legal for years here in Colorado and shockingly enough, the sky hasn't fallen!

Drinking and driving rates have declined, statistics related to hard drug use are all down, from OD rates to petty crime. The state has seen a healthy economic impact and has been able to raise tax revenues from legal sales to help bolster the state's budget.

Sounds terrible, doesn't it?
But what about home explosions in colorado appears to be on the rise don't you think ???

The actual problem in politics is its all lies and they get away with it as far as i am concerned if any party does not fufill there obligations that they promised to get my vote they should get the rope and hang in ottawa to show others that missleading the public to win votes and not ful filling them is death by hanging
Also any criminal activity being it fraud or again anything done by these members should be looked at as treason and such be put to the chair on live TV ..
we here so much that some teacher or someone high authority figure around children or what ever does something wrong there given the most harshest penalties why should any member in parliament not be ??? there issues some how magically disappears
there in charge of our future , our kids future there in charge of Canada's money period
Anyone with that much power should be handed the ut most penalties also

I really don't know for sure. What I do know is that I started smoking while in my teens, at first it was just for fun but over time I saw benefits in it other than getting high.

I'm not one to say who needs to medicate with what or how old they need to be. If the medication helps than why do docs prescribe the pain meds, anti psychotics, etc and still be forbidden in some places (thankfully changing) to prescribe a natural substance like pot that may fall into the same drug class or lower than their current meds are in.
