1st time grow how am I doing?

Strain is unknown as the seeds are of very high quality bag seeds. That being said I am thinking its a sativa dom strain from the characteristics. This is my 1st real attempt. Started 5 seeds in March-April, all 5 took well and turned out to be female. I screwed myself by planting them in a gallon milk jug to start, and then just stuck the whole thing in the ground once they were about a foot or so each. They crowded each other so I pulled the 2 smaller/weaker looking ones for better light penetration for better bud production throughout. They are about in the 4th week or so of flowering I think. They had preflower pistels for a while before the clumps really formed. I feel like I still have quite a while before their ready, but am pretty happy with them so far. I have posted pics in other sections, but most reply's seem to have come from non experienced outdoor growers so I came here for input/advice from experienced outdoor growers. I live in NE Indiana and we have had great weather this year and temps are just now starting to get to the 70's, and may have a day or 2 of 60's coming up. I worry about fall weather and overnight temps changing to soon to really let them fully ripen. Anyone know if this will be an issue for a sativa in this area? This is the only pic I can get to upload right now. I will post better pics of the buds when I have a better signal.

That plant is Definitely indica dominant. It has at least 7 weeks before it's ready. Cold temps can be an issue It definitely doesn't hurt to cover em to keep them warm especially on cold nights. Althiught idicas are pretty resilient in the cold. Those plants are at an easily managed size that you can cover pretty easy. I'd only be worried an out the street and people wondering what your covering.

Really, 7 weeks for indica? I thought indicas were 8-10 weeks? Been at least 4 already. And there are 3 in that clump. Not as bushy as I have seen other indica's in pictures, but I have 0 experience so I just assumed with the thinner leavs it was sativa.

I am calling indica dominant. It does has some sativa characteristics but the fan leaves tell me indica. You can see the leaves touch each other right at the base and that is an Indica thing. What kind of high was the bag the seed came from?

Looks good, but might have trouble finishing. I'd say let her grow until the weather starts to get too cold/ rainy.

Kinda trippy, very euphoric body buzz, but without couch lock, but not reall speedy either.

I don't recommend 1st timers grow bag seed as you don't know what to expect..?
but yeah you have done well...a little public for me perhaps but yeah ok
now the biz. note the red leaf stems, that plant is getting cold at night and it will spread but at this stage is only cosmetic

Give her a shot of neem oil via foilar application for bug and forthcoming molds/fungi and its organic.. https://www.rollitup.org/Journal/Entry/neem-oil.27514/

Do your plant a big favor and clear away that excess plants around her to make a breezeway for wind to dry her out, and reduce pest issues

Good Luck and posta blog

After a lot of looking at different strains, I think I may have a master kush strain. Anyone familiar with it and can let me know if that is it or not?

Thanks! What can I do about the red stems?

The red itself will fade or be reduced by heat, outdoors guys grow and harvest 2-3 weeks earlier for your climate area

Damn, I have worked so hard and been so patient. I wanted to finish them off. Should I try a blanket on the colder nights to help?
In my experience 40's aren't a problem I've had plants out with a few frosts before the biggest issue this time of year is the dampness in the mornings and them not getting a chance to dry out during the day. Putting a blanket or a little tarp isn't a bad idea but you really don't want anything touching or smothering the ladies. Ideally if they are mobile bring them indoors at night and back out in the day. Keep us posted man!
