The two I currently have (still contemplating my 90 day return option on one of them...) were purchased a couple of months apart, and there are design changes between them. For instance, the connection points for hanging were moved from the top/lid of the box to the chasis, so there is less pressure on the lid closure because the weight of the unit is not resting on it... small change but big improvement. They also upgraded (in my opinion) the wiring harness on the electrical cord. Small stuff, but obvious they haven't stopped working on it -- which overall I think is a good thing.

I said from the beginning that I was gonna give an honest assessment,but didn't know I was gonna have to tear it down after a month.

The only problem Ive seen is spacing.The small stuff? I can live with. Optic fixtures work great!

Underpowered no optics and after I did tear it down? Very poor build quality.
I saved the chassis /powercord but everything else was useless too me.
Theres no place my flower room for it.
The overheated emitters is what made me tear it down though.
If the emitters from a 186watt V6 looked the way they did? I could only imagine what the high power 700watt versions would look like in that time.
I really didn't want to give a harsh review ,but it is an honest one. They weren't even close to being ready for production.
Most people were bashing them before one was even sold. I wanted the heavenbright to be a winner,but in the end? It wasn't. I bet $500bucks and lost!

It was the contact emitter/sink. There was very little.
When the light was turned off I could see the emitters. Its not hard to see in the pics. Is it?
Supra says? Has supra seen these pics? Ask him what he thinks happened. 3out 6emitters .
You can throw data out the window if things are not done properly! I am very interested now in seeing someone use a 700watt version V6? It will be interesting to say the least.

thank u for posting this.. it wasn't a few minutes I was on the forum, I made a post about buying a Vero 29 fixture from Optic Lighting that I had a reply in my inbox from someone at HeavensBright trying to sell me an LED light. Then I saw on another forum that the company was run by some guy eating pizza out of his moms basement.. now Idk anything about them.. but I just thought it was unprofessional tact to solicit on a cannabis forum to strangers.. must be desperate to drum up business.

I really feel better now knowing that I ignored and disregarded that solicitation as spam.

My 500w Vero 29 from Optic Lighting (the $1000 model) just arrived the other day via UPS.. stoked!

That's awesome. What temp did u get? I have a 500 coming from optic soon.3000K. I am not the type to lie about a fixture. I cant stand when a grower gets duped. I have never had a problem with AP and I said from the beginning that an honest review would be done. I just didn't think the fixture would do what did so early on?
You chose a powerhouse fixture! keep it 24inches above canopy to start out and guessing? I am gonna use the 500 in a 2ft6 x3ft flower area at 20inches,but that's a guess until I get it here.

He's been PM'ing new members and LED newbs from the start,couldn't stand the little twerp and he talked down to anyone who disagreed with him. Now it turns out he's incompetent too,karma is a bitch.

He will probably be pissed off, but I believe I gave a fair shake? It was 3months maybe 4months release to early IMO.
The emitters had to be placed as close as possible to get anykind of output from chosen drive.
The V6 I had really covered only 20 x 20 area.
It replaced with an RW and its doing a better job and that cost $400 and 150 watts.
It just wasn't ready!!

Motherfucker spammed me too, I am new, and on the LED threads, so, yeah. I cannot believe what a goddamn zoo LED sales is right now, if I was an HID guy I'd feel comfortable to just stick with that until the market becomes less volatile. I don't blame anyone for avoiding them, though DIY COBs are the shit. Most every LED grow light company out there is shit, with virtually no exception.
