my girlfriends plants

not doin to bad for her first grow last year she put some outside they got some bugs she went to the local hardware and got some spray unfortunately it was weed killer and nearly killed them but they still come up with over 5 ounces this time she is growin indoor so there is less chance of bugs.6 seedlings were put under a 6oo watt light in a hydro system all 6 were females 2 were pulled and used as mothers for future cause she run out of space now there are four they were veged for 6 weeks and have been on 12/12 for 3 weeks i estimate they may take up to 80 days as they seem a little slow, any input is appreciated.

no not sure what she planted i would have to agree one of them looks very sativa but it looks like its goin to end up with pretty large nuggets.

passed it on she says thanks, your right 1000 or three or four or maybe more is my weapon of choice but some days you go shopping and you get sold on 600's for some reason so i am finding my ol 1000's slowly bein takin over by an army of 600's.

i have been telling her that fom my experience they r to close together, which is unavoidable as they r in one system, i have told her to maybe trim a leaf or two to let some light in or maybe even pull one out to give them room, i have told her i believe her yeild will suffer, she told me not to trim leaves cause thats what the book says and not to harvest one cause they all have names and she will feel bad for the loss the others will go through, whats everyones thoughts on my thoughts vs hers.

A couple more of the pre flowers on my girls plants sorry about photo quality i cant work out how to take a good close up with this camera.
i still believe her yeild is goin to suffer its just to tight in there, however it will be interesting to see how it turns out.does anyone else have experience on growing plants this tightly packed and if so what were the results.

I see alot of people grow their plants all bunched together, and they seem to turn out fine. But I also prefer to give them space, so the lower regions get light as well. But that is just my personal preference, there is no science behind it. But I would just say let them go, look how bushy and full they have managed to get as they are. I would think they would flower and flourish just fine. But I do understand your concern.

P.S. A happy g/f = A happy home... lol

there was a problem i convinced my girl to pull out a plant for space in the process the timer was knocked a pin fell out and as a result the plants that r supposed to be flowerin for around 3/4 weeks have now been under 24/7 for the last week i think this may be a problem the light hrs have been turned back but im not sure what will happen. on the plus side there is more room now with one gone and i also got a peek at her cloning and seedling operation everytime i go there it never ceases to amaze me what shes up to.....

Ive seen journals where you can obviously see the fan leaves dieing off and falling off the plant because of the crowding. While I dont know that its a bad thing, its probably not a great thing to have parts dieing instead of producing what you want.........namely the sugars the plant needs to produce flowers
