What am I doing wrong?

I have two plant planted in organic soil with two 2500 lumin bulbs.

they are pretty stretched. what wattage? what kelvin are the bulbs (2500/6500)? how close are the lights? temps? humidity?

Ya, you are missing some info here. If you are running cfls you should have them no further than 3-4 inches from top of plant.

I am running two Natural daylight CFLs 3 inches away from the plant in organic soil. I looked up some pictures that resembled my current situation. yellowing leave curling under... I thought it was Nitrogen Deficiency. So... I gave it a little bit of coffee grounds hoping that would help. I could be wrong on further inspection. Looks like it could be Nitrogen Toxicity. I may have just killed my little spouts.

Post a pic of the whole setup with plants in there. They look very stretched out. And yes, as stated ^ they do look over watered as well. Let the cup dry out almost completely and then water again. Do you have holes in the bottom of the cups for drainage? With cfl lighting, if the light is 3" away from tops, they should have shorter internodes then what you've got goin on. But post a pic of the whole setup with plants in there so a better diagnosis can be made.

And straight coffee grounds? That could lead to mold. Better to get some cheap all purpose plant food and feed them very small amounts.

Add more light as well, those 23w bulbs won't get you too far. Especially with two plants. 10,000 lumens per square foot is the general rule.

Overwatered, root-mass way under-developed for its age, light too far away or grow room too hot, not sure if they get supplemental sun light but if they do, then you will need much more light than a cfl bulb.

you could try to make your own cfl fixture like mine. 6 x 45watt 2700K (actual) just a cheap vanity fixture from lowes a piece of 1x6 ,a 12 ft extension cord and 3 Y splitters. in fact i m still using for my three girls they are 13 days old today.
i plan on putting them outside early next week.

damn dude, id suggest you lay off on the watering and let them dry out a bit(not to dry).
add 2 or so more cfls.

what kinda of soil are you growing in?

and its definitely not N toxicity. they are too light green to be N toxic, adding the coffee grounds will help that.

the yellowing is most likely from ove-rwatering
