What size led do I need?

How much you need depends greatly on the quality of the light you buy. Do you have a budget,what is the height of your tent,any temp issues?

The GN lights price is ridiculous for 75 watts and for what it's made of. The 300xg is also high priced for what it is and at 190 watts you would need 2. If you can wait there will be a couple COB lights coming to market soon with a much lower price per watt. I don't know what you would have to pay for import fees. If you are good with your hands and a little technical you could build a light to fit your space.

I'd would be interested in them but only if they came from Europe. Customs from USA always cost a lot.

380W of Epileds won't make you much good in 1.2x1.2m (or even 1.5x1.5m).

The light simply produces too few photons. You can expect average PPFD less than 300 µmol/s/m^2 which is...well, quite enough for vegging at best.

It would be great if you could upload some pics once you get to growing. People generally understand pics better than words and it would be a great illustration what low intensity means.

HPS or DIY LED.
There are some quite good commercial LED fixtures. But as of now they're only slightly better than a HPS and much more expensive.

I use hps for winter and wanted the led for summer growing. House is too cold in the winter to use led. House also gets really hot in the summer.
Are diy led easy to make? Is there any guides on making them?
I'm not very technical as you can gather. I just see something and search the Internet and see who hates them lol. I was unable to find a single complaint with them, or maybe I was looking in the wrong places. A few really liked them and a couple said they were great but cost too much. Someone said they were great but needed a higher position than most.
Can be worse than the Mars 2 I was going to buy, can they? Lol

The thing is that this light won't reduce any heat. In fact, it produces more heat (watt for watt) than a HPS. Osram version of this light could be better though.
There's a lot of threads on DIY LEDs where you can gather some inspiration. Could be done, isn't for everyone.
I'd say that Epistar version of this light is equally bad as Mars. An HPS is certainly cheaper and more effective.
