Hey guys. I have a 10x6 grow room in my basement. I also have a creek thats runs 20 yards behind my house. I pulled some of the water out and ph'd it and it was 6.5 on the dot. Was curious to see if anyne has ever used fresh water ? I think the obvious answer is duh go for it, but i was wondering if anyone has used this and had any problems?

It would probably be pretty good with benes ans fish poop (nutrients etc) I would use it. Hell put plants outdoor around stream and leave them of course off your property

Like my brother in arms anzo said, go for it man, only time i'd be apprehensive is if you have like a commercial farm upstream of it, which I doubt considering it's a creek.
I've used pond water, lake water, river water, creek water, and best of all fish-aquarium water, never had any problems whatsoever, there maybe some purists that would question anything in the water, but honestly the water that goes through treatment plants is gonna have more weird shit in it, than creek water.
Keeping in mind, your creek is obviously an individual one, so if you reaaaally want to be certain, you could test it prior, but I wouldn't bother.
I mean if the friggin plants on the side of the creek are yellow and fried, then yea, maybe think twice...
But if not use that man.
Inn the autumn collect all the leaves that gather in there and compost those suckers.
Like gold for a plant.

In the uk the government website has tables of water quality and contaminate risk etc for certain rivers and areas, may want to have a look online and see what you can find out

Consider checking out that creek, like back to the source, to ensure no poop or moonshiner waste is leaking in, well worth ya time ....lol
