Why are these leaves having discoloration?

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Strain: roughneck by centennial seeds.
It was planted on July 8 in 50% fox farms light warrior seed started and 50% fox farms coco loco.
Being fed distilled water only for now ph of 6.5 under an Apollo 300 watt LED 24 hours a day. Also what could have caused the extra leaf on top? Notice it's growing three leaves out the top instead of two? Thanks

The plant will continue to grow weird for a while... Some just do that - Eventually it will grow normal leaves given good light, water, etc.

The plant looks like it's reacting to the soil - OR Another possibility is it's not getting enough nitrogen ...

.. Don't think the LED is the problem. How far away is the light? Might want to bring it closer if possible.

Let the soil dry between waterings so it doesn't get over watered... Only water the area around the plant - not the entire surface area...

You'll get it going sooner or later, just hang in there - something to learn every day in growing!

Umm yeah id start the grow big and big bloom, just because it looks like ur lacking in nitrogen. How old are the plants from sprout? Important though, start your nutes at a 1/4 stregth especially the grow big. The big bloom you can use normal because thats mostly just worm castings and bat guano. But the grow big start out at 1/4 strength and see how your plant reacts. I say that because your plants still young. I dont know too much about fox farm LW and Coco Loco, but it seems like they may be lacking in nitrogen. Personally i use Fox Farms happy frog and ocean forest mixed, but im not to happy with their soils, also lacks calcium big time.

I use the fox farm trio myself, which is those 2 fox farm products plus tiger bloom.

I would just use the Bid Grow for now. It has the good ratio of NPK for vegetation. Like Ebcrew said use 1/4 of the recommend dosage. And just start out with Big Green for now. Remember you need the Nitrogen more than Phosphorus or Potassium right now. Then in a couple weeks add a lil bit of Big Bloom as needed.

Yep, the big bloom is a little misleading in its name though. Its NPK ratio is 0.01 - 0.3 - 0.7. Its mostly just worm castings and bat guano.

i fed it right away i already had some half strength big bloom already mixed gave it that i had a weaker mix but wasnt sure how strong it was so didnt use it. should i use the grow big in a day or two it has more nitrogen. i also have some stuff called ricks monster grow (a mycorrhizal plant mix) got it from some medical seed guy its 0.5-.0.5-3 (0.5 total nitrogen). its pretty gentle from experience but running low need more soon. I also flushed the coco loco cuz i was using happy frog but it seemed a little too strong for seedling so i tried making something easier. it has great vegatation coming out top but leaves all feel a bit rough. It was planted on July 8th at 6:45 pm i write everything down for when i run into problems thats how i know the time

I would hit it with the Boomerang comeback formula only,, give it a good heavy drench.. wait 2 days.. then feed with the Grow Big and Big bloom.
My area foxfarm rep gave me a bag of goods. I am loving the comeback and the Tiger Bloom. I have yet to get in to the Grow Big or Big bloom. I just fed the kangaroots to the plants I hit with the comeback last week.
The comeback is for real.. I've played with a bunch of expensive - semi expensive bottles with animated labels that didn't really show noticeable benefits.. It was nice to see the comeback formula really work
I treated a 4x2 of neglected cuttings that are going through reveg.. they were pitiful just 3 days ago.

Also.. you might want to give it some Gen Organics CalMag in the coming weeks.. it is quite acidic stuff.. check your solution ph. Even 1/2 strength can be quite acidic.

If it was me I would buy some fish emulsion it won't burn your plants mix 3 tablespoon to one gallon of water it is 5-0-0 so if it is only a nitrogen def then you will see a change pretty rapidly its cost around 7$ a bottle that what I use in my mix maybe it works for you
