Because there are thousands of threads on what kind of soil to use, and what water to use, and so on. But rarely do you see the results of not following those directions.

Cannabis growing has become almost a sport. It seems people forget that it is a living plant that grows in nature. Yes, nature... As in outside were i got my dirt. The same place my grass grows, and my gardens grow.

We have yet to see the limits of what this plant can handle, and as someone else said, it is possible that by selective breeding it may be possible to find a plant that can handle these conditions with ease. Such a plant, could become the most durable strain out there. (Not that i have current plans to breed)

Also, why not? It will provide useful information on how much stress a plant can handle. This wont just be a guess, but actual documentation of a MJ plant in the worst possible survivable conditions, and how it reacts. We learn from failure, im making failure a success story.

They thought the earth was the center of the universe and the world was flat once too.

Who knows, how often is something new learned or discovered. Nothing to lose by doing an experiment

Or heavy clay mud and a firehose, for the other end of the spectrum. Or take whatever pet animals you have and bore a hole into their spine and see if you can germinate in the spinal fluid of a live vertebrate? Both options would be more exciting, especially on YouTube.

My reply above, and replies like it are exactly why I don't start a lot of threads on RIU, yet.

Except credibility. I unliked all your posts. Yeah this dirt experiment was done 1000s of years ago. That's why we have ferts to help add nutrients to the soil. And understand about how the plants need and use light. Cause even Neanderthals learnt about this stuff. This isn't even an experiment. It's more like just WTF than anything. Kinda funny I thought you were for realz gonna do something interesting in the beginning.

Guess I gotta unsub this yet again.

Nah man. Don't like Dr. Phil. He makes a killing exploiting people's emotional instabilities. At least the Jerry Springer show was amusing. Yeah just not my cup of tea bro. Others can't see it. But, I think you are blessed with an artists vision. I used to be a musician. Wrote many good riffs, and melodies. But, hell, who hasn't. lol.

the truth is I actually can draw. but using a finger mouse thing on the laptop makes my art look like a young child did it lol

The plant was over the top bro. Nemo and the Prez showed you have the vision. BTW I love Obama. He's done a great job in our ancient mess of a political system. Perhaps I should extend the "Fuck Ups are everywhere to include 95% of Washington DC. Just how the eff you gonna make it legal for the prez to smoke some weed in the White House. Yet it's illegal federally everywhere else. I dunno man they busted some injuns that had a nice grow op going on like 10k plants recently. Hope we don't get a crazy Republican next year. lol. Some repub dude talking about war with Iran on day one. I don't get it. Smh.
