they can get big but even if they dont theyll yield heavy and be sugar coated, very easy strain to grow IMEyo guys,
just finished first grow.. Curing now. Just started to germinate some Think different by Dutch passion.
just wondered if any of u have experience with them that might be able to give me any tips.
cheers and peace all.
yeah ok sweet, looking forward to it. My last grow was under cfl's..1x 300w dual spectrum and 1x 105w 2700k, I'm looking to upgrade to hls.. But its hot here right now. Do u think they would do well under cfl's? Also I'm thinking of kinda training them in a kinda vertical circular scrog net.. With bulb in center.. Do u think they would respond well to that or should I jus leave em natural? Cheersthey can get big but even if they dont theyll yield heavy and be sugar coated, very easy strain to grow IME
probably be a good strain to try and push the nute strength with in flower (just an idea)
I saw it, liked it very much.yeah ok sweet, looking forward to it. My last grow was under cfl's..1x 300w dual spectrum and 1x 105w 2700k, I'm looking to upgrade to hls.. But its hot here right now. ok that's cool, what I would do if I did it vertically..is have a fan at the bottom, blowing up at the bulb and an extraction fan directly abover the bulb and also keep the net 12 inches from the bulb all the way round. That way I'm not relying on 50% reflected light, I would have 100% 360 light. Its just an idea iv had from looking at the vertical grow page, they seem to get a crazy return.. Over 1g per watt easy.. Just not sure if the think different would suit being trained that much. Also if I stuck with cfl's then id keep the net closer to the bulb. Its getting pretty warm here now, summertime.. So for the next few months temps will be an issue. I'm thinking just a 250w hps.. That will give me less heat and bigger yeild than 400w cfl.. Also cheaper to run, I can upgrade to 400-600w in the colder months. I will decide in a few weeks.. I can start them off under the cfl for now.I saw it, liked it very much.
theyll do alright but CFL never gives you the BEST buds possible.
that sounds like it would look really cool but my concern is that the heat would all go straight into the plant if its encircling the bulb.
I like the LST idea just not wrapped around the bulb.
yeah same here lol... Not sure how I'm gonna set it up yet. Iv got a bit of time under my CFL untill I decide or can afford a dimable ballast for hps. Iv seen people growing vertically like that and they say that temps are easier controlled as there is no hood to stop the heat rising. A little moe research and ill decide and start training. Exciting stuff lol.good idea, pulling in cool air from down low and venting the heat thats naturally going upwards any way.
TD is very branchy IME would take very well to training, like most autos.
yea gotta keep those CFL's close. the HPS would probably add density as well, all that sounds good, cant wait to see how they turn out.
