My stuff tastes great man, you don't have to wash it off, seems extremely unnecessary to me. But it is your bud man, your choice.I don't have PM and yeah there's alooot of branches I'll need to dip in but I don't mind, I'd rather do it and have clean buds. Especially because before I had my tent I just had the plants exposed to the environment of my home which I have 3 kitties wandering around constantly so I'd like to make sure there's nothing I wouldn't wanna smoke on the buds.
Yes I have water cured in the past.no disrespect intended but do you know this from experience?
My bad I misread your post I'm not referring to water curing, just rinsing buds off after the harvest.Yes I have water cured in the past.
The H2O2 will kill any mold or fungus spores that are already on the plant so no increased risk of either despite your high humidity. You being in the desert and all should make things go smooth. If I tried that in my climate, I'd be scared to death of mold/fungus. To humid in my neck of the woods.
i was into doing tbe wash by the book, Doc Buds (originator?) style. I foliar feed right through flower. So ok guys .......here's your chance .......Yea or nae to washing or rinsing your bud.......this thread has threw out a few facts that I'm sure alot of people will find interesting.....so come on .....a simple ...Yea or nae........
I have heard enough to give this a try. I'm not sure it's needed for indoor growing with a controlled environment, but for outdoor crops, this could help wash off the dust, mold spores, bugs etc. that we are exposed to outdoors. Sometimes, you can get just a few mold spores on decayed stigmas, this might help wash off mold spores off or the entire withered stigma. I like the idea of the baking soda and lemon juice, but the H2O2 wash seems to have some good reasons too.So ok guys .....here's your chance .......Yea or nae to washing or rinsing your bud.......this thread has threw out a few facts that I'm sure alot of people will find interesting.....so come on .....a simple ...Yea or nae........
So far all the people who are saying don't do it are people that haven't done it. I always prefer the knowledge of people that have experimented with it and I will be trying it as even the main admin of the website says he does it. So, yeah, I think it's safe.So ok guys .......here's your chance .......Yea or nae to washing or rinsing your bud.......this thread has threw out a few facts that I'm sure alot of people will find interesting.....so come on .....a simple ...Yea or nae........
Apparently he likes to yak on the phone and email other customers about how some customers annoy the shit out of him, stay classy Doc Bud!Really? His BS is still hanging around? Water curing is an option though...if you dont mind or want to smoke weed that has no taste or smell.
Are you aware that the pic of the stems was upside down in Michael Starks book MJ Potency from the actual report in 1975?Fibrous plants have hemp in them same with plants that tend to flower early. I'm not saying plants with pithy stems are bad I have some that are dank but I didn't create them myself. If I make some I want to try to keep that out of the gene pool.
How he is a legend is beyond me. Some of the biggest names in the cannabis community are some of the biggest d-bags or just straight out idiots. It was their generation that really gave pot-smokers such a bad rap, keep that in mind. Fortunately, we are fast on our way to shake off the stigmas.
So I know Jorge Cervantes is a legend among the cannabis growing community and he knows his shit but I'd like some second opinions as I'm thinking about trying this this upcoming harvest. Whatcha guys think? Anyone try it before?
The Pith is an observation, it doesn't dictate potency, it is more the fact that the plant uses some of it's energy to produce the pith rather than Essential oil or bud production. Are you aware that the pic of the stems was upside down in Michael Starks book MJ Potency from the actual report in 1975?

No I actually never read it. That is funny why would a plant that's less fibrous be used for fibers? Are you aware that the pic of the stems was upside down in Michael Starks book MJ Potency from the actual report in 1975?

Pith is Cellulose used in stuff like paper and fuel etc. the fiber comes from the softer tissues of the Cambium layer, just like we breed Cannabis for the Drug, Hemp farmers will breed for fiber and cellulose and seed.No I actually never read it. That is funny why would a plant that's less fibrous be used for fibers?
