This is my t.h seeds ultra sour 3rd week of flower today,at first I thought nitrogen but I have been adding extra n for over a week but it's not improving lower leafs still turning

I normally have 2 plants under 400w hps but my 2nd plant "barneys farm cookie kush" was a straight male even though I bought feminised... but this girls loving the cupboard to herself,I'm running 600-700 ppm atm

did you feed potassium? looks like k def.
I've got some in the a+b flower feed but i'l try add more, and she's sensitive on nutes tbh every plant I do seems sensitive on the nutes I have never exceeded 800 ppm I wouldn't mind knowing how people get the ppm so high I got a little nuteburn last week after ppm raised to 900, I pull 6-8 oz too

Different nutrients run different ppm's. The more organic the nutrients contain the higher the ppm because it different forms and often arent as fast acting so plants dont absorb them all at once like synthetic salts do.

All depends on what nutrients you are using so you cant really answer that question without considering what your using for ferts.

Hydroponic nutrient solutions you always run lower opposed to soil mixes which fan be run very hot (high ppm)

800 does seem very low for bloom thought you should def be up in the 1200 range eithout issues. Make sure the ppm you are giving them is in correct ratio. Meaning a majority of the ppm come from your bases not additives.

That could be a few different issues. It kind of looks like potassium but it also looks like it could be magnesium or even a Ph problem.

Need to know more about what nutrientd you are using the ph and additives would help alot.

The better question would be if you are giving it the correct Ph and good nutrients why is this problem happening would be better way in solving the issue. Those plants arent very big either so maybe the 800 ppm is good range it just isnt absorbing what you are giving it because you have an issue at the roots. Hope this helps

Im running the ultra sour right now same shit. They are hounds you need extra nitrogen and calcium and magnesium. Or they have mad deficiency very finicky strain. I been running 1300 ppm first 2 weks flower in coco mix. You using cal mag? What nutrients are u using i will help you out.

It probably potassium issue on set by calcium problem. Bump up base nutrient and it you have any pk booster start that right now at half strength. I been running 5 ml calmag plus botanicare on top of 3/4 strength base nutrient and half stength pk otherwise same shit would happen.

Ist also possible if u are using calcium too much can lock out potassium as well as too much nitrogen so cut out the extra mitrogen immediately!! Flush em plain water for a few days than resume feeding

Only a few reason for potassium def. either arent feeding enough. Too much salts in rhizosphere. Or calcium and nitrogen antagonist meaning too much can inhibit uptake of potassium.

start with what i recommended and youll be good. Promise yah brotha

It is a beaut of a strain yes this is my fourth time running it first timein dwc though but im not a begininner in dwc really just this is bugging me!

My nutes
Dutch pro hydro bloom a+b 10ml of each to my 10l res
Plant magic cal mag 7ml
Dutch pro explode 7ml
pk 13/14 7ml
Cannaboost 20 ml
GET vitamins 12ml
cannazym 20ml

Ph at 5.8 usually drifts up too 6.4 daily and ppm drops too 500 and I knock ph back down By bringing ppm up...

Whats in the dutch pro explode? You dont want to overdo the PK additives just make sure your keeping everything balanced. Everything else sounds good. Except I would cut off all the cal mag for a week or so and see how you do. Too much calcium and nitrogen can inhibit potassium uptake. If your not using RO Water than dont worry about the cal mag there should be plenty in those bases esp for mid flower. I usually stop all calcium magnesium additive around week 4 of bloom. Sometimes week 5 depending.

But it sounds good man. Keep it growing

Thats way too low for ppl in flowering my dude. You got get that up asap. 1200-1000 minimum.

If you want to keep your ph and ppm more stable get a separate reservoir and fill it with half strength nutrients of your main res and ph it to the 5.6 or whatever you like it at and get a float switch for the main res so when the plants absorb the water and nutrients it takes water from the 2nd top off reservoir and sends it to your main res and that will keep your ppm and ph stable and in range where you want it at.

That issue your having most likely is simply caused by not having enough nutrients accessible to your plants needs and thats it

You got any pics of the ultra sour cured up i can see? My man have me these seeds and some sage n sours to run just wondering how they look finished up?? Post em up if u got any wanna see how they look def interested in that, this my first run w em right now

You shouldnt be using the dutch pro explode and the pk 13/14 together those are same product basically. Probably over doing the potassium and phos as well id cut all that out and feed the bases and boost and wait til final weeks to add the pk and cut back on boost when you do that.

And cut cal mag down as well if at all. And just increase base nutrient to full strength for a weeknor so and see how they respond

I hope this helps. Without knowing everything youve done this is my best possible explanation and scenario knowing what youve given me.

But I would always ask around and go with your best possible solution, sometime trying to fix one thing can fuck other things up if you didnt make the correct adjustment to begin with. Although I think that is what you are experiencing just do your homework.

Anytime I see someone with these types of problems its usually PH (always start here), the medium needs flushing (excess salts are wreaking havoc on plants rhizosphere) or its under feeding base nutrients (having wrong ratio of additives to base mix). Its really important knowing how positive and negative charged ions interact in your soil and how giving to much of one can interfere with the uptake of the other and vice versa.

Its reallly important not to use too many diff additives with diff bases because of how the nutrients are made and where they are derived. Diff companies use diff forms of salts and can thus have diff charged ions which can have a negative interaction at the roots. When I use nutrients I usually stick with one nutrient line and additives for this purpose and use very few outside amendments. Worse thing you can do is mix and match shit IMHO, this is from experience.

Dutch Pro your using is really good stuff from what I know and they have really good additives and shit like that you should probably just stick to their lineup and run with it and keep it simple adding too much stuff in can really fck things up.

They also have a soft and hard water formula, I dont think you mentioned your source water but whats the reason your running the cal/mag so high @ 7 ml/gallon? You using RO Water? You really shouldnt need to use that much especially during flowering phase after 2nd week.

Hope all this helps I am really interested in you giving a good update in a week or so and let me know what you did and how they look after you make your changes! Thanks man hope hear from you soon

Just curious, looks bushy like it being grown outdoors but is it a indoor or outdoor grow? Reason I'm asking is that lower leafs can suffer from lack of light and can start to wilt and die off, normal common thing. But still, judging by your ppm and other users comments on the nutes being used, you may still have a issue

Its indoor under a 400w hps

im currently up too 1800 ppm and its still working its way up the plant

Explode has a npk of like 0.2 0.2 3 so its not just pk 13/14, ive also hit her this week with fox farm beastie blooms
