Ha! well WV is willamette valley abbreviated, so that's oregon. Funny though cause I did spend quite a bit of time in West VIrginia. too humid for my tastes. All my early finishers came from oregongreenseed, and it's a first for me. I did flower the moms inside to get a sense of which phenos to choose. Ended up doing one of each pheno and multiples of what I'm guessing are the keepers. All my "late" strains are really end of september so still early for many folks.

Didn't think you can grow them like that on the east coast (@getawaymountain might have something to say about that).

My end of september finishers: Ape Cheese (local strain, new to me), Blue Snowdog (new, oregon green seed), backwoods (local strain, new to me), and the bubblegums. I think maybe one of the Cindy's Blue Cheese phenos could be towards the end of september as well, but OGS told me they also had a pheno that was beginning of september. I'm not going into october unless I have to, so I picked strains that should be done by then. Of course I won't know for sure until the end.

yea its always a gamble outdoors in the PNW.
mine are all 7-8 week strains also, which switch over to flowering in august usually, I got this sunrise/sunset time calender, it shows how the days get shorter through the next 3 months, -3 hours,
And I noticed that OGS, is sold out on most of there strains lol that tells you alot!

one thing though that alot of people have been saying is this crazy heat wave has made cloning more finicky esp. for aerocloners.

Yea this is my first round in the PNW, Im really anxious to see how much more vegging they do, and when they start stretching. My biggers ones are prob 4 foot tall 6 foot wide canopy's though due to supercropping.

Im hoping weather allows me to take them to mid October...none of my strains are climatized to the PNW, and have 2 sativa dominants, and a few hybrids that have longer indoor flower times...will be interesting thats for sure!

I think you might see them stretch in early august or so, but that means they started flowering a couple weeks before that, IMO anyway. Splitting hairs really, they're done when they're done.

I keep frozen bottles of water for my cloner, it helps but gotta change it out every day. I've noticed we can get some moisture end of sept/early oct. But then it could be dry for 2 or 3 weeks. 2013 we had 12 days of rain/overcast cold weather. 12 freaking days. I barely made it, all my early october plants were a moldy premature lot that was a pain to trim and a fraction of what it could have been. Farming is gambling.

yea, i am hoping my greenhouse, and my dehumidifer, and fans will keep me going if worst happens, but yea man...farming is always a gamble. root aphids, rippers, cops, mites, mold, starving deer, all can render the garden a loss.

whats the green-130 mean in the WV, zone? lots of rain lol looks like a mixture/ saying a 'split flow'' , interesting. i think oregon has its own mind on the weather lol

From what I understood of it, they also said june was going to be average temps...It seemed way fucking hotter then average to me...

Seems more or less normal temps right now, but I just found a lobster mushroom, usually it's early august for them. Yeah hotter and drier way sooner this year.

ill never forget september 2013 had over 5 inches of rain that month, when the average is what...1.5 inches unsually, hopefully if we have normal year finally it will be nice untill mid 0ctober like it should be!

Subbed to the thread came in.late but man ur plants are looking great.If you dont mind me asking what breeder is the bubblegums from if its from seed ?

Thanks man. I have only seen this plant in clone form and am not sure who the original breeder is. Finishes end of september up here in the north. Only thing that I'd improve on it is the taste. Hint of sweetness but not much else. Smells great, yields great, potency is above average. Tried and true. Does make me wonder what other phenos are out there.
