This is my first outdoor grow! Bug spray not working

My first outdoor grow is going pretty well except for fighting bugs. I have ecosmart neem oil and mint spray and use miracle grow feed. My medium is 3 gal organic potting soil. I was thinking I need to get a mini greenhouse but I am trying to gorilla grow. I don't want to attract unwanted attention. Is boric acid okay to sprinkle around my plant? I have dog's. What's the best way to fight pest?

Aza max? Works great for mites. U can water it in & spray on the leaves. Also maybe some slug killer. Depends on whats buggin ya

What pests do you have there are a lot of pest specific things you can do especially if you not trying to kill your dogs a precise organic approach may be helpful

Hey if you're going to leave them in containers you can line the edge of the pot with something sticky, like Vaseline, and most crawling bugs will get caught in the physical barrier. Tanglefoot is a product you can get at the grow store that maybe be best for that application because it's thicker than vaseline.

I have noticed little cricket like bugs but I think those are good not sure. I also see caterpillars and mites. I'm in the south east america

I plan to keep it in the pot this year. Next year I will use a 3 gal smart pot so the roots can breath better and be healthier.

kinda a small container for outdoors!! step to a 10 or 15 gal at least. Ppl place a ring of this directly on the plant towards the base.

I wish! this is only my 6th grow my others were indoor. I do not live in a marijuana friendly state so I cant grow in a ten or fifteen gal pot. I would if I could and it would be in a greenhouse. I am trying to get good at growing so when it does become legal I will already have my nitch

Only 7 gallons, up from 3, well ok...

at least go to 7 but use a rigid pot and add more perlite to compliment the oxygen. A rigid container will allow you the freedom to move the plants around w greater ease. I'll settle on 20% of the extra lb you yield. good luck

Azamax and spinosad work really well when mixed together. ^^^

I've tried literally a dozen different pest sprays this season and several others in previous grows. Flying Skull brand Nuke Em is one of the most effective sprays I've ever found.

This year I used
Horticulture spray
Pyrethrin
Neem Oil
Azamax
Spinosad
BT
MyCotrol
NukeEm

Several types of essential oils
Lavender Oil
Tea Tree Oil
Rosemary Oil
Pepermint Oil

These are all good options but the NukeEm is a knock out punch.

It's a bit sticky to do but you can wrap the base stem with pieces of sticky strip, like a band aid. Cheap and very effective I assure you.

I got scared and had to yank it. I have an airport near me and a helicopter flew a little to low for my liking and I jerked my baby up. I was heart broken. What made it so bad is I had a dream that I pulled it the night before. I woke up like yeah still got my plant until that fudging choppa had to fly through. Haha
