pot ? about washington DC

me and the wife will be visiting our daughter there in 2 weeks. she(square) wont give me the heads up on the legal pot scene there. any advice? thanks

we will be visiting for a week. our plans are the national mall and chess in Washington square(both should be cheap...I like cheap)

How about the Lincoln memorial or Washington monument? Arlington cemetery/ unknown soldier? Better than the mall I would think

Hey, is there a Washington Square in DC? And if so, do they play chess there? Not in my time they didn't. Are you sure you are not thinking of NYC @wascaptain ?

I know they play chess somewhere in DC. I think along the mall (which narrows it down not much). There's plenty to do there on the cheap. Call you congressman's office and get white house tickets (no weed). There are about a dozen Smithsonian locations, all free.

I used to smoke weed at the Einstein statue. But it was the Clinton years, pre-9/11.

What are you looking to do?

If you wanna party go to Adams Morgan its a bad ass neighborhood at night just take the metro brown line and get off at the zoo stop...go up the biggest fucking escalator you will ever see and ask someone which way to Adams Morgan..marijuana is de criminalized in the 10 square mile by 10 square mile area that is Washington DC idk about shops but if you cant buy weed on Adams Morgan you suck. The national mall is only kinda cool to be honest be prepared to walk your ass off or to hire a fat black guy to pedal you around and show you the sites. The art museum was best for me. edit// and yea there were doods walkin around the mall puffin all blatantly and kule

I smoked a joint on the roof of the Lincoln Memorial on a 4th of July. Good times.

I was banging (and sometimes oral) a girl who worked in the Lincoln Memorial giftshop. Got to tour the whole place, basement included (all that limestone = stalagtites). We weren't by any means alone, the joints passed freely. Sometimes it is hard to believe myself considering the patent impossibility today.



It seems like a much bigger deal today than it did then. Police? There were no police. It was the 1990's. Cold War victors.... "End of History".... all that shit. It was a damn good time to live there. Except the weed sucked.

yo uncleb .... I am going visit my 30 year old daughter...but the real reason is to try and get her to come back home. I sure miss my daughter...I find her boyfriend is controlling. she had her own life and great job here. there he wants her to be a stay at home type and wait on his needs thing. he is not a bad guy, about the only thing I got against him is he took our daughter away.
hoping DC has some pot shops opened. if not I sure will try out your heads up.. thank you sir

oh and chess...I was there in 2002 for to honor the 343 fireman that died in 911. to me that was where the chess action was...I may have the park named wrong thou...I will sniff them out.
