Post your tomatoes

I also did not harden them off before planting witch was a mistake. After planting i stated top notice this. I thought it might be from the shock of going straight out but idk. I have been foliar feeding with Epsom salt and it seemed to help a lot but i don't want to have to rely on that. Any advice as to what could be causing it. I amended the soil with ewc, garden tone, and some humus and manure. Nothing special I'm thinking maybe it's time for some fish ferts maybe?

Has it been raining a lot there? It rained for weeks here. I've got some stuff like that on the lower leaves of most of my plants to varying degrees. I think it is caused by rain splashing soil up on the leaves and then bacteria/fungi get on the plant, so I'm going to get out there today since it has finally dried up a little and do some pruning and lollypopping on my tomato plants. I think I also might give them a foliar spray tomorrow with some water with baking soda in it.

Yeah some heavy rain and flooding. I did to dress some garden tone the other day toi know that stuff will burn up the leafs, i can deff see some splashing up there was standing water in the bed when it was coming down hard

Nice looking gardens all ! So I guess tomato plants may suffer nitro def also. Or they just have a different color. Notice in the pic. The one on the left is darker green.

I feed them earthjuice. Like on the bottle says. What ever tablespoons per gallons.

Feed water water feed. I'm surprised my ground is still wet. Don't remember watering. Stoner problems.

Haven't top dressed yet with compost. My mmj has signs of nitro def for sure.

Heres my garden this year. Little bit of everything. Pretty much all heirloom from baker creek. Trying potatoes this year for the first time and also okra will be a first for me. Herbs and strawberries are in containers on the fence.

No BLTs ?
omg salsa, my favorite thing to make.. i don't even really like tomatoes unless it's in something like salsa.. i don't eat them on sandwhiches or anything...
anyone got a good recipe?

I usually just use tomatoes, jalapeños, lemon juice, garlic, salt, little olive oil , onions. Oh and some cilantro. I love cilantro. Actually the cilantro I planted 3 years ago still sprouts up.

lol, no, no blt's either.. idk, i don't like the texture of a tomato in my mouth as a whole, but cut it into pieces and i'm down...
that's about the same recipe i've been using..

I'm not one of those that will sit there and eat a big tomato by itself, but I always have a great BLT when I get that first Cherokee Purple of the year. I make my salsa with the exact same ingredients that @TripleMindedGee5150 does. Can't wait to get some tomatoes... starting to get a few little green ones.
