Lets talk yield variables in soil!

So in my experience with growing to get high yields of grade A Quality buds there were a few things i needed to do.
1. variables of container size and veg times. I personally like 1 week per gallon veg indoors. And i go by 50 gallons of dirt to a single 1000.
2. watering amount, frequency, soil drainage. I like to water a well draining soil with 1/5 of its soil capaciy. 10 gallons get 2 gallons. 5 gallons get 1. I like the water by weigh of the plant rule, water when its light. for soil drainage i like 30% perlite in a mix.
3.room air quality. I like 78degrees, with 1200ppms co2. 45% humidity, 1 osculating fan to every 4x8 area + small floor fan. I dont like to beat them with wind so i like more fans on lower settings. Now i also like to exchange the air in my room for fresh air from outside 4 times a day.
4. Strain variety/prunning methods. i think topping is a great method for any grow with decent veg times. I top 2-3 times for a 10 week veg. I like to go for a good 20-40 tops depending on strain. always tend to lollipopmy plants of bud sites before flowering them So i get all top colas and an even canopy.
5. Nutrients/bud quality. I like to leave nutrient price out for a second here and talk about this aswell. in my experience organic nutrients or soil is much more flavorful and aromatic with great potency. But with synthetics you can push higher yield. With nutrients i like to think of plant needs and giving it that. An organic base mix, or a synthetic grow(a&b or 3 part), b1 vitamin, macro and micro nutrients, silica, enzyme, microbes, p-k boosters, carbs, humic/fulvic acids. Im not saying you need 20 bottles but having all of these in the right increments will increase yield.

wind u want lots of wind to keep temperatures down, exhaust especially. please avoid mould, it's the least you can do. what are the dimensions of your GH, can't quite make it out on google earth

2: I water when I need to.....I can "see" when their ready.....amounts are size and "when" in the grow they are dependent....I prefer to water a metered amount daily for the added o2.....skipping days by heavy watering is not getting the nutrients to the plant in pH range availability in optimum amounts by natural pH swings......Daily is better as I get far closer to hydro yields BY getting as much nutrient to the plant as possible......This is in organic runs.....The rule applies to synthetics too.

3: WTF?
A: 78F and 1200 ppm Co2 is out of line for the ppm's. You should be around 85 F for lights on with 1200ppm Co2. Co2 will be of no effect without proper heat levels to allow the plant to actually use the added Co2.
B: Your in an area correct? Not tents? Why are you exchanging air if you don't have to because you use Co2? If you feel you have to....do it during lights out and save on Cooling and Co2.

4: Ok, I do a little lollypopping.....I like topping. How about some supercropping and less trimming of the lowers.

5: Yields from organics not only can be as good as synthetics. You can surpass them with time under your belt (you get a smoother cleaner grow that is not "holding back" the plant with more then it can actually use with out causing unhealthy conditions. You can overfeed with organics, but making a good WO soil is the ticket).....Vs. hydro, you can get close to the same yielding, but you can't beat it..

Why do you think that a week per veg week isnt right? and i dont mean in relativity to outdoor where your doing 50-10000000 gallon plants lol. i say 78 degree ambient temp because i know my lights heat the canopy up quite a bit running them 18inches away. I run the exhaust fans every so often to get "new" air into the room. I do it inbetween cycles ofcourse. Yea no tents here anymore. i hear you about the yields but it is harder to perfect organics in my eyes. I really like a well aerated soil with a decent nutrient line up. GO, AN organic line, floraduo, botanicare pure blend pro, fox farms 12 lol, cyco and the other tomato. All had great results some better than others lol.

Well, I just don't see the formula for the week of veg thing as working out as a rule of thumb....It sure don't fit mine! Topping throws that off, way off.
To have your Co2 be effective at 1200ppm....you need to be hotter. Research that!
I have a completely sealed grow. I use Co2 with an automatic meter that runs the Co2 gen. when needed. As long as the Co2 is maintained....I don't need to cycle air out. Heating and cooling are done complete from the inside air......I haven't had bugs or molds in years!

The only thing i have figured out on my own was, when i mix my own 7 part organic soil for final transplant, i have to let it sit out for 3-4 weeks before transplanting otherwise my yield drops like 20-30%. I used to get 5 ounces in 7 gallon containers. That number is now 7-8 zips per 7 gallon container and im willing to take anybody's advice to jump my yield lol.

Well look at it from my view, i veg 1 week solo, 2 week 2 gallon, then into a 10 gallon for 7 more weeks veg before flower. shooting for 4-6 zips a plant. I run my co2 with a tank set up and with co2 bags in the other. Seems the same lol. Idk, ive read articles from HT regaurding closed systems and replenishing the room. I used to have pm problems anf it helped a ton. That and a sulfur burner lol.

How do you feel reguarding plants per 1000 watt and veg times/soil container size in relation to that?

That's a plant size at finish issue.....could be 1, could be 24+ as in a SOG run (optimum plants per 1K for max yield)........I guess to answer that question. We would need to know what your goal is in total? For 4-6 zips per plant. I have to ask. How many zips do you average per container size.....Use that answer as your guide....Do what you know how and move forward learning as you go to improve.....I can tell you what I do to get what I do per container.....but too many enviro factors come into play to exactly copy me and get the same results.....You have to find your zero......I can point you in that direction,,,,Ok?

Gassing in Veg is like throwing money away....The return for the cost is NOT worth it! Gas in bloom only and stop at 2 weeks to finish as Co2 will inhibit proper ripening.
PM...sulfur burning is gross and gets a residue on everything! Horse tail grass tea. Buy in bulk online and brew it as directed....cool it down and spray on plants - organic - plant likes it (foliar) - can be used right up to harvest......Once you have a PM problem and you treat the plants......You must also treat the room! Chlorine sanitize every surface and I mean every surface! PM should be gone then...

In a sealed room, you should exhaust excess oxygen from the top of the room atleast once per lights on. You should also be exhausting excess c02 from the bottom of room with lights off, I usually do that right when the lights turn off and again 6 hours later. That is one HUGE key to large yields in a sealed room IMO.

Doesn't matter. The excess oxygen will still accumulate at the top of the room with lights on. Has nothing to do with air circulation, has to do with the density of each gas.

see i couldnt imagine pulling 1gpw with only 16 1 or 2 gallon pots. I tried 9 plants 3 gallons under 1000s, 4 weeks veg from clone, yield was like 18-20zips per light

A ceiling fan, slowly, 24/7 and wall fans during lights on. The air in the room is "stirred" at all times....
