Hempy buckets need hydro nutes,
because there are not supposed to be any nutes in the perlite.

What seems to be the best ph to use? 5.8 for hydro? or 6.3 as if you were in soil?

Hey earl... you know i respect your experience in all of this... I have to ask... why cant you use hydro nutes... i have given my outdoor plants a feeding about 6 waterings ago... say 18 days ago...and it didnt mess up anything.... the miracle grow that i a using for soil is doing great and mandalas website tested it and stated that it was perfect for weed ... and that it wouldnt need nutes for about 4 to 8 weeks.. or so.. i dont know... im not ust gonna throw my hydro nutes out... and it seems fine so far.... I imagine that if you would have just fed them with water for a few weeks it would have been good... not sure... you tell me man..

so a hempy bucket is just either perlite an/or vermic.. i assume you can use coco coir and any other type of shit like coco peat. im gonna try this shit out .

Earl, I'm gonna need you on board my 600 vertical that I will be starting a journal on soon.... You'll love it, I am going to run 2 600's vertical in a 48" cool tube and go 30% foxfarm OM soil- 30% lava rock 30% perlite and 10% worm castings and i'm going to run your identical 7 part nute set up for the DWC Nutrient challenge..... You know your shit Earl and I am from a land of pro growers and I still say that..... I know how you kina feel about hydro nutes in soil, so let's see how it goes.... I definitely want your input if you are willing to give it.... and to the rest of you... Please, get involved. Good advice I will always take and apply if it makes sense.... When I mix up the DM nutes with RO
the pH starts out at 5.6
I don't adjust it,
just poor it in the bucket.
I have not tested the runoff.
I will.
