I need to make some of this stuff. Where would i go to buy the ingredients? Is ot cheaper to make thn buying pre mde soil such as ocean forest. As of now i am using ff ocean forest and happy frog with great results. But still wanna try making some ss. But i will have to find some room to make it. What is the white on the top?

http://www.hightimes.com/read/subcools-super-soil-step-step should have everything you need to know here. i just got my ingredients from gardening shops around town and humic acid on ebay. this isnt like your normal soil, you have to blend it with what the call a base soil(like roots organic, promix, fox farm). you can use ocean forest as part of the recipe to make it but you might want to use a couple bags of happy frog with it because the ocean forest is a bit strong. you don't use all super soil because chances are it would fry your plants. they do sell similar super soils pre made but they're expensive. theres one called michigan medical marijuana mix but you still have to add stuff for flowering in the end. with super soil you do not add any nutrients, just straight up water. you could add whatever with watering but do so with caution. the super soil should have everything you need from start to finish. it can be a bit of labor to mix the soil but i just make a huge batch and get a couple helpers. it can get expensive making big batches and using roots organic but you will save big time on your labor in your grow. it's nice just adding water and not mixing all this shit all the time. also like me with a perpetual harvest and several strains, i cant just mix 1 big batch nutrients in water because each plant is on a different schedule and requires different levels of nutrients. super soil just water when they dry up. need more nutrients just add some super soil on top. once you go SS you dont go back to your normal soil growing. it really did work that much better for me. good luck

here is my living soil mix and its working amazing so far. i use happy frog/ocean forest to start the seeds in and transplanted into this living soil once my plants was about 6 inches tall. since im new to organics i just bought my living soil so i could test out organic growing without fkn something up.this is water only all the way till harvest i was told by a few other growers that used this mix last year

1/2 Part Worm Power

1/2 Part Oly Mountain Fish Compost

1 Part Sphagnum Peat Moss

2/3 Part Pumice

1/3 Part Rice Hulls

Now with 5% Pre-Charged Colorado Bio Char!!

Nutrients included in the soil:
Acadian Kelp Meal @ 1/2 Cup per cubic foot

Neem Cake @ 1/2 cup per cubic foot

Crustacean Meal @ 1/2 cup per cubic foot

Brix Blend Basalt @ 2 Cups Per Cubic Foot

Gypsum Dust @ 1 Cup Per Cubic Foot

Oyster Flour @ 1 Cup Per Cubic Foot

Hey mason...from seed it was alright. It gets better and better and heavier and heavier and stinker and stinker ever single time... my favorite strain yet.. second is my Plushberry both phenos.. Third is the Quantum, fourth is the Agent Orange.. Those are just my Keepers that i run consistently. All TGA is serious Dank. Cant wait to get my chernobly back.. that was a big fuk up losing that one.. cause i was high. Da da darata
