There's options for 720nm-740n that are quite reasonable. 30% efficient+. It's just the 670nm - 725nm, and again from 725nm-1150nm that is bad.

@SupraSPL to your knowledge, what's the best far red you know of?

For me, it's either the Cree XPE or the Optotech, both are about equal in terms of output per watt used.

Y'all remember this relic from 2011?

We made 50 units, and took forever to sell. This light almost put A51 out of business (and Fero LED's doomed partnership). But because of the pure tenacity of A51, we recovered from the huge loss and became something serious.

Yea . My partner has a 1000w double ended and believe me I've seen really good results with it first hand . It's possible to smoke the density/penetration/spread/spectrum of it in a 4x4 but I understand it's to big to sell and not worth the end result given you already tried . However , if you make a monster single unit that puts these 1000w HID suckers to shame , sign me up . I'd buy one just so I could talk shit to these new technology haters . Next on my list is CMH. I'll be getting one soon . Cobs will follow afterward .

So, the new A51 lamp...

It was designed to accept more than just the Vero 29 v2. It can also house the CXB 3590, or a circular circuit board that can accept up to 40 LEDs.

Cooling is the best it has ever been for A51, watt for watt, we're at our best here. The Vero 29 test panels are coming in 24C - 29C, as long as you keep your grow room temps in check, 72-82F, you'll get the lower temps.

So, besides (and in addition to) the Vero 29 V2 and CXB 3590s, what do y'all want to see? Another red/white panel? Blue/red? Red/white/blue? Green/yellow/cyan? Rellow??

Can i buy the spider patch only, i'm pretty sure that's the secret of the succes of your panel. My babies definitly need some fresh new pair of leaves.
