Help choosing an LED replacement for 1000HPS?

Hey guys I'm a long time lurker and first time poster here!

I've spent hours scouring the Internet and this forum looking for an answer to my question.

I'm currently using a 1000HPS in my 4 x 4 grow tent and I'm looking to replace it with a high quality LED grow light. I've found loads of different lights and all of them promising the best, although I've come to realize that they will say and promise just about anything to sell you their lights!

So after days of research I've managed to narrow it down to a few manufacturers. In no specific order these are the ones I've shortlisted.

Hydrogrow LED Extreme series 336X Pro - $1799

Black Dog Platinum XL-U - $1999

Advanced LED DS XML 650 - $1595

New Age LED Mega 600 - $975

From these options and your knowledge and experience which LED do you think would make a better replacement for my 1000HPS? Also if you have a better suggestion please fire away! My budget can go up to $2k if the light is good enough.

Thanks guys!
I'm running 2 Mar's hydro reflector 96x5 in a 4x6 tent with amazing results ...

If you want to learn more maybe post in one of the older established DIY threads, lots of people will answer any questions you have. Looks like Area 51's COB light has been pushed back to July but it may be worth the wait if you decide not to DIY.
Yes I will keep reading up and be asking a lot more questions. There are some very knowledgable guys here such as Supra, Green, Pos and Realstyles. Thanks.

I've looked up Area51 but unfortunately they don't ship to SA, so that option is out.

Start out with enclosure/plate ,2 drivers,2 cobs ,2 heatsink.fan combo, power supply for fans, from mouser and build it yourself. Opticlighting said they would send me just the case for 20 dollars 200 watt empty case! Build it yourself. If you need a guide? Buy the optic 200 watt and clone it!?

So guys I have been looking at the availability of getting all the parts I need here in SA, and sad to say it's going to cost me a lot of money to get everything here with shipping costs. I'm sure I can source some parts locally but overall it's gonna cost the same if not more than buying a fixture from a manufacturer. I haven't given up hope though, if I can find a company or companies that will ship internationally for a reasonable price.

On another note what are your guys thoughts on Pro Max Grow lights?

Wasn't the housing/spacing your issue?

so that means a true 600 watts being used ???? 90's and 120s i think i would go with also mixture 4k and 6k
reason i asked about lot bins as its mentioned everywhere in LED ..
i am curious on cost of one i might just build on with the obvious help from everyone if i haven't pissed on there corn flakes :) but fck yea 4 k and 6 k mix it has to be
Unless you are planning on severely under driving them, consider using Vero 29s and save some bucks. No bins to worry about either, just color temp.

So tell me its best to have a light coming from a point source to my understanding with mixing spectrum s... And angle lens , some plants may only get a certain spectrum . and miss out on other'S where the spread cannot reach them ???

Mixing spectrum's isn't necessary. Get one color and stick with it.
