hi, looking for a lamp that can hold a normal house hold CFL, the small ones with a BC connection. the bulbs are only 20watts i think but its just to add to my CFLs.

just a cheap ass lamp with the BC connection and a plug on the end.

any1 know where i can get 1?

dont know where ur from but its an english connection i think. other bulbs have that connection as well. its been arround for ages. u just push it in and twist so that it holds in place. real easy. ok dm. maybe some others have seen/heard of this. im just lookin for like a £5 lamp with that connection.

we still have the 'thread' type connection as well.

my car headlamps arnt BC. there like a erm... UB fitting if thats the right one? the long thin ones that look like tabs of gum. anyway whatever.

yer u can get table lamps as well but all of em ive seen are expensive from home design places an stuff.

a plastic one will do, i just dont wanna wire up the BC connection to electrical wire to a plug. i dont trust myself, ha.

BC Lampholder > Maplin that is what i want but with a wire and a plug on it.

i think u can buy em online but there the E40 fitting for the big twist CFLs and there like 15quid

just go to b&q and buy the fitting and a piece of cord and use your imagination man. only set you back £3-£4, good luck
