When we know the LED chip they use , such as Cree , Osram which we all know good quality LED chips . If we know their led chips brand and the price is good , then we prefer those Brand LED chip Grow light ,

One 3W CREE LED chip can reach 3.5W ,one Chinese 5W actual wattage is 3.5W . So what kind of LED chip brand they use is very important .

Have you seen the efficiency charts thread made by nogod_? There, you can find the efficiency, lm/W, etc of running various popular leds at different currents and temperatures. This thread is likely to turn into a more qualitative analysis based on just about everyone saying their light is great.

If a manufacturer wants the customer to know what they're getting it takes more than a claim "we use Cree emitters". Some Cree products aren't that efficient, so which model Cree emitter is being used? And what current are they being ran at? Once that information is known the relevant datasheets can be used to determine how efficient a lamp is and how much light it puts out.

I don't like my Lumigrow Pro 320 enough to research it, sorry. Lumigrow is "OK" but I'm working on DIY COB luminaires.
