Our Govt intervenes in the marketplace less than the US Govt does, in reality we actually do have a freer market than yous do.

I warned you before about using outdated words to describe advanced economies.

Again, "socialist" in the context Americans use simply means "Govt involvement".

We're a free market country that is responsible enough to look after its weakest/most needy citizens.

That's hardly the "Peoples Republic" socialism youre trying to imply.

I have read similar studies on this. Not only the suicide rate, but the post surgery TG's that were interviewed years later. There seems to also be much regret, when they realized that despite changing gender, most of their problems didn't go away. That said, I really don't think it's anyone's business what's behind someones zipper.
I think they may assign their problems to their gender so they change gender. Surprise! Turns out that wasn't the problem after all.

I totally agree with this, can't argue with facts lol. The only thing that offends me is using tax payer dollars to pay for these surgeries. They aren't a necessity regardless of what anyone tries to say.

suicide rates tend to make me believe different, but perhaps i should defer to the expertise of a raging bigot like you.

you know what's really interesting is suicide is a male thing?..WASP, no social safety net..yada, yada.

yet we're talking about male being female brain chemistry-wise, yet they succumb to a very real male trait.

women do commit suicide, but not as the rule..we are too involved..children, pets we consider these things and the aftermath.

This is a good point. Compare side by side suicide rates of transgender ppl who felt forced to live in their 'assigned' gender vs. the gender they feel they are to the suicide rates of post op transgender ppl.

Bullshit.

Women commit suicide at similar rates to men, they just have a tendency to choose less messy methods of doing so.

Men shoot themselves or jump off a building, messy messy.

Women hang themselves or take an overdose, less messy.

i've already done that in this thread.

it's about 41% for pre op and 4.1% for post op, compared to 1.6% in the population at large.
