Job corps? I almost went instead of military.
That actually sounds like a good idea, i went to the one in McKinney for a week but got kicked out it was almost like jail, and full of people who didn't graduate, went to jail and got kicked out their house forced to go there, it was bad and someone tried to take advantage of my kindness, it's been a year so I think I'm eligible to go again.

Give it a shot and suck it up. We all do things we don't like. Trust me man I know. That's why I sold my Xbox. To much time online playing games. I got shit to do. You know what I mean.

As you all know my life has not been on a
correctpath lately, i live with my mother and she has decided I go to rehab, since she thinks bud is the reason for most of my problems. She now has it set up to where I fly to Florida a week from now.

So I searched up what is rehab like and I didn't find any results/reviews which were made by real people who actually went just websites explaining frequently asked questions.

So I ask if there is anyone who has went to rehab, what is rehab really like ?

Is it bad, full of junkies fighting and what not ?

Are there drugs in rehab ?

Will I have my own room or a roommate ?
Do they make you exercise ?

Is the food good ?
Will I be bossed around ?
Will I be able to leave the center sometimes ?
Is there internet, video games, or anything entertaining?

That's it Thanks in advance for answers.
Every rehab is different depending on if it's court ordered, if you have to detox (with alcohol or benzos, sounds like you won't) and how long you are staying :)
Honestly if you're going to florida you're prob going to have a nicer facility that could even have a lil spa and gym.... it also depends a lot on your insurance. I have been twice, and it was a shitty experience both times. I have no family or money so it was next to a homeless shelter. i feel this is the main reason everything was so shitty to start with(i am sober now btw THC is no problem w me it was painkillers)....
I had multiple roommates, the food was shit, the doctors were shit, the withdraws were shit, the people were shit. it was crowded, & a womens only facility. i had kidney failure the second time i went and was in the hospital a week. the rehab staff told me my items would be bagged up and held safely while i was at the hospital. needless to say when i got back from the hospital some of the residents had gone through my shit and taken it because nobody gave a fuck and ever put it up. when i confronted the staff about all my shit being GONE i was told i had pretty much signed my rights away at the beginning of the rehab. basically i couldn't hold any of the shitty staff/rehab residents accountable i fucking left. i left with like 2 bucks and started my life over again. new house new car new job. i got sober on my own, medicated (obviously w dabs) and have successfully rehabilitated my own damn life on my own. Maybe i gained some coping skills maybe sort of? I don't believe too much in the 12 steps because i don't really agree w religion. they always emphasized how YOU NEED GOD over and over it's part of the program. i don't necessarily agree. met nobody cool unfortunately and didn't feel respected. I'd say be careful what you sign in the beginning. you hear this a lot for a reason [in reference to sobriety]: "Nobody can change unless they want to themselves" .

message me if u have any other questions yo! all the best of luck to you!!!!
& p.s they are now a non cigarette facility too :X Screen Shot 2014-09-05 at 11.11.04 PM.png

See now most of these
people think im just a lazy person who doesn't try, it took me a long time to find
that job at braums, I walked 3 and a half hours to get to the interviews, basically the issue I have is I'm tired of trying to no avail, before this rehab idea came up I was still looking for any type of work I could get I embarrassed myself going
to fill out applications with a sweaty musty stench from walking in the sun all day, this is probably the main reason i never got a call back from any of those places I took everyone on here advice, and I tried to execute it to the best of my ability.

I even listened to Gary Goodson, cause I really did not want to walk to any of these places at all but I just sucked it up and went for it, I figured well if all that is not going to work what is ?

That's just basically my take on this situation, to try and explain to people that I'm not just complaining to
complain, and why i think rehab is a good idea.
you should have listened to Mr sunshine.
